Objective:Posture is a simultaneous reflection of the individual’s current physical posture and mental outlook, and the quality of the posture directly affects the physical and mental health of the individual.Through the testing and evaluation of the bad posture of some college students in Shanxi Province,we can understand the current status of college students.Analyze the causes of college students’ bad posture, improve the degree of attention of college students to bad posture, and provide theoretical and data reference for the prevention of bad posture. Methods:By consulting the literature related to bad posture at home and abroad,we can understand the current research status of college students’ bad posture at home and abroad.A total of 1168 college students in 3 colleges and universities in Shanxi Province were tested for bad posture and human composition.A questionnaire survey method was used to investigate the influencing factors of college students’ poor posture.SPSS24.0 was used to analyze the statistical situation of college students’ poor posture.Categorical variables are expressed in composition ratios(%),and continuous variables are expressed in median and quartiles.A chi-square test and binary logistic regression were used for statistical analysis. Results:There were statistically significant sex differences between high and low shoulders(P=0.035<0.05)and pelvic back leaning(P =0.000<0.05).The differences in pelvic roll(P=0.009<0.05)between college students in the normal BMI group and the abnormal BMI group were statistically significant. The differences between the normal PBF group and the abnormal PBF group in the high and low shoulders(P =0.007<0.05),pelvic forward leaning(P =0.044<0.05)and long and short legs(P =0.046<0.05)were statistically significant. The differences between the normal WHR group and the abnormal WHR group in the head forward(P =0.021<0.05),high and low shoulders(P =0.000<0.05),spinal roll(P =0.000<0.05)and pelvic forward inclination(P =0.000<0.05)were statistically significant. There were statistically significant differences between sexes in three types of poor posture at the same time(P =0.033<0.05).Prone when using the phone(B=0.347,95%CI: 1.058~1.891,P =0.019),myopia325-600 degrees(B=0.033,95% CI: 0.414~0.968,P =0.035),abnormal waist-to-hip ratio,WHR [bias regression coefficient(B=-0.457,95% CI: 0.605~0.960,P =0.021],exercise to slight sweating(B=1.041,95% CI: 1.081~7.421,P =0.035),chest-sitting(B=-0.616,95%CI:0.400~0.731,P =0.000),introverted type(B=0.417,95%CI:1.003~2.298,P=0.048),cross-legged standing(B=0.816,95%CI:1.326~3.853,P =0.003),posterior back muscle pain(B=-0.599,95% CI: 0.363 ~0.830,P =0.004)may be the influencing factors of poor posture. Conclusions:At present, most of the college students in Shanxi Province have bad posture problems and the situation is serious, the most serious bad posture is in the shoulder and neck, and the most prone to bad posture is the head forward, long and short legs and pelvic forward tilt.Boys are more likely than girls to develop poor posture with high and low shoulders and pelvic back tilt, which is more severe. The obese group of college students was more likely to have problems with forward tilt of the head and bad posture of the pelvis leaning forward than the normal WHR group.College students with normal obesity indicators are more likely to have problems with poor posture of high and low shoulders, pelvic rolls and long and short legs of body tilt, indicating the prevalence of bad posture in college students.Lying down when using a mobile phone, myopia, abnormal waist-to-hip ratio, degree of exercise, chest sitting posture, introverted personality, crossed feet standing posture, back muscle pain and other reasons may be the influencing factors of poor posture.
