A Clinical Study Of The Application Of Lengthening End Of Neo-urethral Plate Urethroplasty For Repairing Of Hypospadias

Objective:To collect clinical data of patients with hypospadias treated by Lengthening End of Neo-urethral Plate Urethroplasty and tubularised incised plate urethroplasty,and the efficacy of the two methods is analysed and evaluated by comparing.Methods:The clinical data of male children with hypospadias who received Lengthening End of Neo-urethral Plate Urethroplasty and Tubularised Incised Plate urethroplasty from May 2016 to December 2018 were reviewed.All the patients in the first group were treated with the repair of hypospadias by tubularised incised plate urethroplasty,while the patients in the second group were treated with the Lengthening End of Neo-urethral Plate Urethroplasty.In order to prepare the operation area,the solution of potassium permanganate at the ratio of 1:500 is sitted bath by all the patients three days before the operation.Each patient was operated under general anesthesia,and antibiotics were used half an hour before the operation.All patients in the study were followed up for at least 6 months,and the complications were recorded.To compare the indexes of the two groups,and to compare whether there are significant differences between the two groups in the operation time,postoperative hospital time and the incidence of complications and so on.Results:There was no significant difference between the first group and the second group in general information preoperative,including age,height,weight and medical expenses,p>0.05.The different types of hypospadias in the two groups were:The former type was:9 and 8 cases,the middle type was:13 and 15 cases,and the posterior type was:7 and 6 cases,and the difference in composition ratio was not statistically significant.Among the postoperative complications,none of the glans dehiscence in the second group,and 5 cases were glans dehiscence in the first group.The difference between them was statistically significant(P=0.02),but there was no statistical significance in other postoperative complications,such as urethral stricture,urethral skin fistula,etc.,all of them P>0.05.Conclusion:Compared with tubularised incised plate urethroplasty,Lengthening End of Neo-urethral Plate Urethroplasty also can be successfully operated on different types of hypospadias,and the effect of reducing Urethral skin fistula postoperatively is equal to Tubularised Incised Plate urethroplasty.However,Lengthening End of Neo-urethral Plate Urethroplasty also play the important role of reducing glans dehiscence after surgery because it can avoid wing-shaped incision of the glans,and it can get a better outlook,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
