| Objective:To evaluate clinical efficacy of Qianyang Yuyin granules through observing its effects on TCM syndrome score,arterial elasticity,inflammatory factors,blood lipids,blood pressure and heart rate in patients with essential hypertension,.Methods:150 patients with essential hypertension who met the inclusive criteria were randomly divided into two groups after the screening period,control group and experimental group.The control group was treated with ACEI/ARB/CCB alone or ACEI/ARB combined with CCB,and the experimental group was combined with Qianyang Yuyin granule on this basis.The course of treatment was 8 weeks.The changes of TCM syndrome score,ultrafast pulse wave velocity,inflammatory factor,carotid intima-media thickness,resistance index,blood lipid,blood pressure,heart rate and safety index were observed before and after treatment.Results:1.The score of TCM symptom score in the two groups were improved after treatment(P<0.01),and the improvement in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P<0.01).2.There was no significant difference in blood pressure and heart rate before and after treatment(P>0.05).3.In terms of arterial elasticity,the ultrafast imaging pulse wave velocity and resistance index of bilateral common carotid artery were improved after treatment in both groups(P<0.05),and the improvement in treatment group was better than that in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in intima-media thickness of bilateral common carotid artery between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).4.After treatment,the inflammatory factor of the two groups were all improved(P<0.05),and the improvement of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).5.There was no significant difference in TC,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C before and after treatment(P>0.05).6.On Safety index,there was no significant change in liver and kidney function before and after treatment in both groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The improvement of arterial elasticity and inflammatory factors in patients with essential hypertension by Qianyang Yuyin granule combined with western medicine standard hypotensive therapy was better than that of western medicine alone. |
