Objective The aim of this thesis is to survey the prevalence of depression and its related factors in patients on maintenance hemodialysis(MHD).Methods This was a multicenter cross-sectional study.Convenience sampling was used to selected patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis patients from four tier three class A hospitals in Zhejiang province during March 2017 to April 2017.Depression was measured using Beck Depression Inventory(BDI),patients were divided into depression group and non-depression group according to the BDI score. The social demographic characteristics、the relevant clinical information and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS)between the two groups were compared to analyze the influencing factors of depression for patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis. Results 1.Totally 297 patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis were included,89 patients were having depression, the prevalence rate of depression was 29.98%in this study.2.There were no differences in age、gender、education level、employment、duration of dialysis、dialysis type、original disease、before dialysis serum creatinine、afere dialysis serum creatinine、before dialysis urea、after dialysis urea、calcium、phosphorus、C-reactive protein、immunoreactive parathyroid hormone(P>0.05)between depression group and non-depression group.3.There were significant differences in marital status、payment type of medical expenxes、family per capita monthly income、body mass index、complication、hemoglobin、serum albumin、KT/V、Charlson Comorbidity Index(P<0.05)between depression group and non-depression group.4.There were statistical significances between the two groups in Social support conditions including objective support, subjective support and support utilization(P<0.05).5.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that low BMI(OR:1.308;95%CI:1.115-1.533;P<0.05)、one complication(OR:3.471;95%CI:1.237-9.742;P<0.05)、more than two complications(OR:27.124;95%CI:6.189-118.873;P<0.001)、low Albumin(OR:1.49;95%CI:1.293-1.718;P<0.001)、low KT/V(OR:12.228;95%CI:2.153-69.452;P<0.05)in dialysis patients were independent risk factors for depression infection in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Conclusion 1.Maintenance hemodialysis patients have a higher prevalence of depression. It is recommended that the regular review of depression be included in clinical hemodialysis routine.2.Depression is related to the marital status、payment type of medical expenxes、family per capita monthly income、body mass index、complication、hemoglobin、serum albumin、KT/V、Charlson Comorbidity Index、Social support conditions of the MHD patients.3.High BMI、high Albumin、high KT/V in dialysis patients were protective factors and having complication in dialysis patients were independent risk factors for depression infection in maintenance hemodialysis patients. |
