Evaluation Of Nutritional Value Of Rapeseed Meal And Cottonseed Meal For Sheep Feed

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the nutritional value of rapeseed meal and cottonseed meal feed raw materials in different provinces and regions of China.The feed materials of rapeseed meal and cottonseed meal from different provinces and regions in China were collected,and the nutrient contents of rapeseed meal and cottonseed meal in different regions were compared and analyzed.Through the digestion and metabolism test,the digestibility,digestive energy and metabolic energy of rapeseed meal and cottonseed meal were obtained.The development of rapeseed meal and cottonseed meal as ruminant protein feed was evaluated.The test results are as follows:Experiment 1: on the basis of air drying,the dry matter(DM),crude protein(CP),crude fiber(CF),crude ash(ash),crude fat(EE),total phosphorus(TP),calcium(CA),acid deterg ent fiber(ADF),neutral detergent fiber(NDF),total energy(GE)and content of 10 kinds of rapeseed meal samples in different regions were 89.05% ～ 95.06%,32.36% ～ 39.94%,10.74%～ 13.45%,5.98% ～ 8.95%,0.58% ～ 3.67% and 0.81% ～ 1.14% respectively 0.61%～0.84%、12.11%～26.74%、26.64%～39.84%、16.91～20.38MJ/kg。The variation ranges of dry matt er(DM),crude protein(CP),crude fiber(CF),crude ash(ash),crude fat(EE),total phosphor us(TP),calcium(CA),acid detergent fiber(ADF),neutral detergent fiber(NDF),total energ y(GE)and content of 10 cotton seed meal samples in different regions were 89.89% ～ 95.76%,45.29% ～ 56.98%,3.83% ～ 20.6%,6.08% ～ 7.54%,0.26% ～ 2.18%,0.83% ～ 1.5%,0.24% ～ 1.02% and 12.56% ～ 21.7% respectively 25.93%～43.55%、17.37～18.23MJ/kg。Experiment 2: DM digestibility of 10 rapeseed meal raw materials in different regions.The variation range of ADF digestibility,NDF digestibility,EE digestibility,OM digestibility and CP digestibility were 70.53% ～ 71.37%,51.59% ～ 53.11%,52.88% ～59.5%,88.22% ～ 91.74%,73.35% ～ 74.44% and 74.13% ～ 79.41% respectively.The de and me of meat sheep to 10 rapeseed meal raw materials in different regions were 13.88 ～15.31mj/kg and 13.26 ～ 14.93mj/kg.The changes of DM digestibility,ADF digestibility,NDF digestibility,EE digestibility,OM digestibility and CP digestibility of 10 cottonseed meal raw materials in different regions were 70.86% ～ 71.74%,51.37% ～ 53.79%,53.51% ～59.71%,74.12% ～ 79.32%,73.69% ～ 74.74% and 87.61% ～ 92.86% respectively.The de and me of meat sheep to 10 cottonseed meal raw materials in different regions were 13.8 ～15.03mj/kg and 13.17 ～ 14.61mj/kg.The above research results analyzed the nutritional components of rapeseed meal and cottonseed meal in different areas,and supplemented the data of feed raw material resource database.The nutritional components of rapeseed meal and cottonseed meal in different regions are different,and the content differences among regions should not be ignored when making the dietary formula of rapeseed meal and cottonseed meal.At the same time,the nutritional value of rapeseed meal and cottonseed meal for meat sheep was systematically evaluated,which has important guiding significance for rational development and utilization of feed resources.
