Investigation And Analysis Of Indoor Potted Ornamental Plants In Urban And Rural Residents Of Shanxi Province

In this paper,by means of literature research,field investigation,identification,classification and comparative analysis,indoor pot ornamental plants of 100 households in Taiyuan City,Pinglu District and Xiangyangbao Township of Shanxi Province were investigated and analyzed,the purpose is to provide reference materials for the research and practice of greening and beautifying the indoor environment of local urban and rural residents,and to play a reference role in the development of the local indoor potted flower market,which is of great significance for the application of indoor potted plants in this area.The results are as follows:(1)There are 154 species,2 subspecies,8 varieties,6 cultivated varieties,2 variants and 4 hybrids of indoor potted ornamental plants belonging to 70 families and 140 genera in Shanxi Province.Among them,there are 4 families,4 genera and 4 species in both pteridophytes and gymnosperms,there are 62 families,132 genera and 168 species of angiosperms.There are 50 families,96 genera and 118 species of dicotyledons and 12 families,36 genera and 50 species of monocots in the phylum Angiosperms.According to the statistics,there are 70 families in total.The Sedum,Araceae and Liliaceae are the dominant families in local ornamental plants.Statistics of local ornamental plant genera,a total of 140 genera,Euphorbia plant species for the most genera.Through interviews,a total of 88 kinds of indoor ornamental plants were recorded as local folk names.(2)According to the division of ornamental parts,the local indoor pot ornamental plants are mainly leaf ornamental plants(104 species),followed by flower ornamental plants(80 species),compound ornamental plants(56 species),aromatic plants(36 species),stem ornamental plants(9 species)and fruit ornamental plants(7 species).(3)The main life type of indoor potted ornamental plants is herbs,with 97 species(perennial herbs have the most,with 87 species).There are 20 species of arbors,50 species of shrubs and 9 species of lianas.The main origin of housepot ornamental plants is Asia and China,with 47 and62 species respectively.There are 27 species of origin in South America,20 in North America,28 in Africa,only 2 in Central America,Oceania,the Pacific and Europe,and only 1 in the Atlantic Ocean.(4)According to the statistical analysis of the application frequency of indoor potted ornamental plants,the top 20 ornamental plants with the highest frequency were Epipremnum aureum,Chlorophytum comosum,Kalanchoe blossfeldiana,Bougainvillea spectabilis,Sansevieria trifasciata,Schlumbergera truncata,Schefflera heptaphylla,Pelargonium hortorum,Clivia miniata,Aloe vera,Cyclamen persicum,Euphorbia milii,Catharanthus roseus,Opuntia dillenii,Impatiens balsamina,Aglaia odorata,Pachira glabra,Dianthus chinensis,Dianthus chinensis,Echinocactus grusonii。(5)By analyzing the relationship between indoor ornamental plants and residents with different living time,different ages and different education levels,residents aged 1-5 years had the least indoor potted ornamental plants,residents with a household age of more than 20 years had the most pot plants.Residents aged 25-35 years and 56-65 years had the most indoor potted ornamental plants,while residents aged over 66 years had fewer indoor potted ornamental plants.Residents with higher education level owned more indoor potted ornamental plants,while those with lower education level owned the least indoor potted ornamental plants.(6)According to statistics,residents in Pinglu District cultivated the most indoor potted ornamental plants,while residents in Xiangyangbao Township cultivated the least indoor potted plants.At the family level,the indoor potted plants of residents in Pinglu District,Taiyuan City and Xiangyangbao Township had a high degree of similarity;at the level of genus,Taiyuan City is the most,and Pinglu District and Xiangyangbao Township are similar at the level of genus.According to Jaccard similarity index formula,Pinglu District and Xiangyangbao Township have the highest degree of similarity,while Taiyuan City and Xiangyangbao Township have the lowest degree of similarity.From the perspective of penetration rate analysis,the penetration rate of indoor potted ornamental plants among residents in Pinglu District is the highest,while that of residents in Xiangyangbao Township is the lowest.From the analysis of the intention to continue to buy,Taiyuan residents have the highest intention to continue to buy,while Xiangyangbao Township residents have the lowest intention to continue to buy.Through this survey,the indoor potted ornamental plants of urban and rural residents in Shanxi Province were understood,which provided basic information for scientific analysis of the application status of indoor potted ornamental plants of residents.And in view of its existing problems,the following suggestions are put forward: when choosing indoor potted plants,we should pay attention to some are not suitable for indoor cultivation,choose some potted plants that can play a role in purifying indoor air.It is suggested that the local flower market introduce some new varieties of ornamental plants to improve the diversity of their types.
