Cultivated land,as the most precious natural resource in China,is an important foundation for food security and rural development.It has the ability to provide a production and living environment,as well as comprehensive ecological capacity.It plays an extremely important role in food security,ecological protection,socio-economic and other aspects.With the continuous development of the social economy,people’s production and lifestyle have undergone significant changes.The single production function of arable land no longer meets people’s diverse needs for arable land,leading to the transition from a single production function to a coordinated development of multiple functions.Horinger County,as a major suburban county carrying the development of six major industrial clusters in Hohhot,undertakes the mission of building an important national production base for agricultural and livestock products,and hastens the manifestation of the multi-function of cultivated land in Horinger County.Taking Horinger County as an example,this study uses mathematical model methods such as comprehensive index method,Spearman rank correlation analysis method,local spatial autocorrelation single and double variable analysis to evaluate the static cultivated land multi-function of the four periods in the county from2001 to 2021,and analyzes the temporal and spatial change characteristics of the cultivated land multi-function trade-offs and synergies in the study area over the past 20 years;Based on the analysis results of the relationship between the coordination and trade-off of the multiple functions of cultivated land and the actual utilization of cultivated land,the classification analysis method was used to comprehensively determine the Partition type types of cultivated land functions in the study area,and targeted suggestions were put forward for the protection of cultivated land and the coordinated development of multiple functions in each functional area.The research conclusion is as follows:(1)The multifunctional cultivated land in the research area is divided into five categories: production function,ecological function,social function,economic function,and landscape function.(2)The spatiotemporal variation of farmland function index has been significant in the past 20 years.The production function index first showed a continuous upward trend,and showed a decreasing trend from 2009 to 2021;The ecological function,social function,and economic function indices of cultivated land showed a decreasing trend from 2001 to 2009,and an increasing trend from 2009 to 2021;The landscape function index of cultivated land showed a continuous upward trend from 2001 to 2018,and decreased slightly from 2018 to 2021.The spatial distribution pattern showed significant changes,with high value areas scattered throughout the county and low value areas moving northward.(3)From the perspective of temporal changes,there are certain differences in the trade-offs and collaborative relationships between cultivated land functions.Over the past 20 years,there has been a significant negative correlation between production and ecological functions,ecological and social functions,and ecological and economic functions;There is a significant positive correlation between production and social functions,ecological and landscape functions,and social and economic functions;The production and economic functions show a transition from insignificant negative correlation to significant positive correlation;The production and landscape function show a transition from insignificant positive correlation to significant negative correlation;The social and landscape functions exhibit fluctuations of "no correlation-significant positive correlation-no correlation";The economic and landscape functions exhibit a transition from significant negative correlation to no correlation to significant positive correlation.(4)In terms of spatial distribution,the single function of cultivated land and the trade-off and synergistic relationship between functions are almost consistent.There are five types of trade-offs and synergistic relationships between a single function of cultivated land,and ten types of trade-offs and synergistic relationships between two functions of cultivated land.The "H-H synergistic zone" is mainly distributed in Shebiya Township in the northern plain and hilly areas,as well as in Dahong urban and rural areas,as well as along the banks of the Hun River;The "L-L collaborative zone" is mainly distributed in the southeast of the county,where the slope of cultivated land is relatively large and the degree of fragmentation is high;The "H-L balance zone" and "L-H balance zone" are scattered and have no obvious pattern.(5)Based on the administrative village as a unit,the research area is divided into five types of zones: agricultural production leading zone,modern agricultural demonstration zone,characteristic agricultural development zone,ecological agricultural protection zone,and agricultural function improvement zone.Targeted farmland utilization directions and protection measures are proposed based on the basic situation and development trends of different zones. |
