Shandong Province is the important ginger production place in China, the yield of ginger has been increasing rapidly in recent years. However the fertilizer waste has become a serious problem, which is mainly due to lacking of suitable nutrient management techniques. In this study we used controlled-release fertilizer and medium-weight element fertilizer to set different fertilizer formulations,so as to explore the response of ginger by measuring the growth and development dry matter accumulation, nutrient content yield quality and other indexes.By these research,This thesis come up with a suitable fertilization program for the local area to provide the scientific basis and technical support for efficient fertilization of ginger. The main research results are as follows:1.The combination of controlled-release fertilizer and medium-weight element fertilizer significantly increased the accumulation of dry matter of ginger rootstock, stem and leaf as well as the agronomic traits and quality of each organ, among which the maximum medium-weight element fertilizer application rate of 1500 kg/hm~2under controlled-release fertilizer treatment had the most significant effect, but there was no significant increase in yield, and there was no significant difference in fertilizer bias productivity among treatments and no significant difference in the contribution of fertilizer application rate per unit to yield among treatments.2.Controlled-release fertilizer and medium-weight element fertilizer can promote the content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium calcium magnesium, zinc, iron and manganese in ginger at different fertility stages. At the early stage of ginger fertility, compared with compound fertilizer at the same amount of medium element fertilizer, the content of mineral elements in each organ of ginger was significantly promoted by controlled-release fertilizer treatment, and the effect was reduced at the later stage of fertility. The content of all elements showed a decreasing trend in ginger fertility and the content of large elements in each organ of ginger increased with the enhancing of medium element fertilizer application at different periods.3.Controlled-release fertilizer and medium-weight element fertilize application can increase the accumulation ofnitrogen phosphorus.potassium calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron and manganes absorption in different organs of ginger.Combined application of controlled release fertilizer and medium element fertilizer could increase the absorption and accumulation of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron and manganese.Under the same application amount of medium element fertilizer, the accumulation amount of mineral elements in various organs of ginger at controlled release fertilizer treatment was significantly higher than that under common compound fertilizer treatment. The accumulation amount of large elements in various organs of ginger at different periods increased with the increasing of medium element fertilizer application amount. In conclusion, the most suitable fertilizer formulation for the growth and development of ginger as well as the effect of high quality and yield increase was the O3 treatment with a maximum application rate of 1500 kg/hm~2of controlled-release fertilizer and medium-weight elemental fertilizer.
