Mung bean is a small crop and the level of research is far behind that of the bulk crops, and progress in variety selection has been slow.In this study,91 mung bean germplasm resources from different regions were analyzed for genetic diversity using a combination of field morphological trait markers and SSR molecular markers, and the main findings were as follows:1.The genetic diversity of compound leaf shape and pod width were the largest, and the coefficients of variation of compound leaf shape and number of pods per plant were the largest. The average genetic diversity indices of quality and quantitative traits were 0.5993 and 1.9516,respectively,and the average coefficients of variation were0.3269 and 0.2455.2.UPGMA clustering of phenotypic traits can divide the materials into five clusters:Cluster I is small-grain high-yielding germplasm;Cluster II is high-stem germplasm with average yield performance;Cluster III is large-grain high-yielding germplasm;Cluster IV is a rich source of germplasm resources, with the best performance in a number of main stem branches and 100-grain weight and mediocre overall performance;Cluster V is the large-grain germplasm.Taxation I and III have good overall performance;the traits between Tucson I and V are complementary and can be used as parents in crop breeding.3.Principal component analysis was performed on different germplasm, which could be divided into 11 principal component factors, the last three components were in a moderate state, and the remaining eight principal component factors were yield factor, leaf color factor, growth factor, seed color factor, bud color factor, main stem velvet factor, and two leaf morphology factors.4.The top ten varieties were CL0009,ZY430,ZY91,ZY118,20-284,Northeast mung bean,Xuko mung bean,20-310,summer mung bean, and ZY175 when the mung bean materials were evaluated comprehensively using principal component analysis.5.Six pairs of SSR primers were screened, and the effective allele number variation ranged from 1.7390 to 1.9637 with an average of 1.8523.The Nei’s gene diversity index(H)ranged from 0.4239 to 0.4906 with an average of 0.4573;The Shannon information index(I)ranged from 0.6148 to 0.6837 with an average of 0.6492;The polymorphism information content(PIC)varied in the range of 45.79% to 64.10% with an average of54.32%.
