Sugar beet(Beta vulgaris L.)is an important sugar crop in our country, and it is also one of the dominant characteristic cash crops in our region. At present, drought has become the main factor restricting the high-quality development of sugar beet industry due to the regional conditions of sugar beet growing areas.Exploring effective measures to improve the drought resistance of sugar beet is of great significance to further improve the productivity level of sugar beet and expand the planting area of sugar beet by efficient use of dry land resources in our district. Therefore, this experiment used three drought resistant agents(quercetin, kaempferol, fulvhumic acid)through pot experiment and field verification,to study their effects on the morphology, antioxidant enzyme activity, osmotic regulatory substances, photosynthetic characteristics, etc.,in order to screen out efficient drought resistant agents suitable for improving the drought resistance of sugar beet, and provide a new way for sugar beet to resist drought and increase production. The results are as follows:1.Under drought stress, spraying 30mg/L quercetin,10mg/L kaverol and 800mg/L fulhumic acid at seedling stage can significantly reduce the content of malonaldehyde in seedling leaves and reduce the damage of membrane structure; The content of free proline was increased and the ability of cell osmotic regulation was improved. The activity of SOD,POD and CAT was increased to improve the antioxidant capacity of sugar beet.To improve the leaf SPAD value, reduce the inhibition degree of PS Ⅱ reaction center, maintain the relatively high photosynthetic rate of beet leaves, and improve the drought resistance ability of beet.2.Field identification showed that under drought stress,30mg/L quercetin,10mg/L kaferol and 800mg/L fulhuic acid were all beneficial to increase plant height, fresh weight and root/shoot ratio of plants, promote dry matter mass accumulation and improve the yield quality of sugar beet under drought stress. The effect of 30mg/L quercetin treatment on drought resistance was obvious in the rapid growth stage of the middle lobe plexus,and800mg/L fulvic acid treatment on drought resistance was obvious in the sugar accumulation stage.
