| 21st century is an era where data stimulate the development of industries,and in this era modern agricultural data demonstrate a tendency of explosive growth.Precision agriculture,combining traditional agricultural production technologies and modern high and new technologies such as information technology,biotechnology,mechanical technology and material technology,paves the way for an agricultural production of subdivision,scale,standardization and customization.On the other hand,information overload in agricultural production becomes a severe problem for the development of agricultural knowledge information services,and accordingly the keystone and challenge in this industry emerge as for how to identify,filter and extract the needed among such huge information,and further integrate and systemize it.However,there is also a deficiency of relatively stable and complete knowledge service platform of precision agriculture in China,and it is imminent to build such platform,given the current development of information technology.This study takes knowledge service platform of precision agriculture as its research subject and aims to address the following questions:what the status quo is for agricultural knowledge services,both at home and abroad;what the theories and major technologies are needed to build such platform;which platform model adapts to China,etc.This study with sufficient surveys into the existing researches,sets out the imminence and inevitability to build a knowledge service platform of precision agriculture,and summarizes the preliminary theories and major technologies required to build such platform.Based on SOA technology,it develops a model of such knowledge service platform of precision agriculture,and starting from knowledge service flow during the development it keeps analyzing and improving the service flow.Accordingly a four-level conceptual model of knowledge service flow is put forward,and subsequently major structure and relevant relation are organized.With the conceptual model,it carries out the overall design and function design of the platform,incorporating five major functions.Corresponding tests regarding the eight functions are performed later to verify its functionality,accuracy and reliability.The knowledge service platform designed could be applied to address some information overload in agriculture.Centering on SOA technology,it makes possible the information summary,information analysis and knowledge exploration in the agricultural knowledge service flow,and provides theoretical and practical support for the research on and development of production and services of precision agriculture,though some perfection is yet to be done. |
