Soybean is an important food crop and economic crop in China,which has high nutritional value.It is of great significance to use chemical substances to regulate the growth and metabolism of soybean for high yield and quality.This experiment was conducted in the experimental field of Sanguan Town,Chuzhou City,Anhui Province in2019 and 2020.The intercropping experiments were conducted with seed soybean suike 12 and seed maize Nonghua 208,fresh soybean suxiandou 21 and glutinous maize jinshulu jingmeinuo F1 The growth and development,photosynthetic characteristics,dry matter accumulation,yield,quality and economic benefits of soybean intercropping with Triadimefon(TDM),Epibrassinolide(EBR),foliar fertilizer(LF)and choline chloride(CC)as well as their conbination F were studied,It provides theoretical basis for high yield,high quality and high efficiency cultivation of soybean intercropping in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.The main results are as follows:1.Effects of different chemical substances on growth and yield of soybean: During the two-year experiment,leaf area index,dry matter accumulation in various organs and yield structure of seed soybean and vegetable soybean were significantly increased by F treatment;Under TDM treatment,the leaf area index(LAI),dry matter accumulation in various organs and yield structure of seed-used soybean were significantly increased in the dry year of 2019.However,EBR treatment did not significantly improve the growth and yield indexes of seed soybean and vegetable soybean during the two-year experiment.LF and CC treatments increased the growth and yield indices of seed soybean and vegetable soybean during the two-year experiment,but not significantly.2.Effects of different chemical substances on physiological metabolism of soybean:During the two-year experiment,F and LF treatments significantly increased the photosynthetic indexes,nitrogen content and sugar content of each organ of the two kinds of soybean in each period;TDM treatment significantly increased the photosynthetic index,soluble sugar and nitrogen content in stem and leaf of two kinds of soybeans in the dry year of 2019,but had no significant effect on the physiological metabolic index in 2020 under waterlogging.CC and EBR treatment increased the photosynthetic indexes,nitrogen content and sugar content of each organ of the two kinds of soybeans,but not significantly.3.Effects of different chemical substances on soybean quality: all treatments had the effect of improving protein content in seeds of soybean,among which protein content in seeds of soybean was significantly increased under F and LF treatments;However,all treatments had no significant effect on increasing oil content in seeds of soybean.F and LF treatments significantly increased the contents of free amino acids and vitamin C in vegetable soybean grains,while other treatments had no significant effect on the contents of free amino acids and vitamin C in vegetable soybean grains.4.Influence of different chemical substances on economic benefit: the economic benefit and land equivalent ratio of F treatment were significantly higher than CK treatment in the two-year experiment;LF treatment had higher maize output value during the two-year experiment,and its land equivalent ratio was also significantly higher than CK treatment.The economic benefit and land equivalent of EBR treatment in two years are lower than that of CK;CC and TDM treatments increased the yield of soybean and maize,but not significantly.Finally,the land equivalent of CC and TDM treatments was higher than that of CK,but not significantly.In conclusion,F treatment can improve the growth,yield,metabolism,quality and economic benefits of the two kinds of soybeans in the intercropping system.During the two-year experiment,LF and F treatments had significant effects on the yield improvement of two kinds of maize,while LF did not have significant effect on the yield improvement of soybean,but finally had a significant effect on the overall benefit improvement of intercropping mode.However,EBR treatment did not improve the yield of the two kinds of maize,and even reduced the yield of maize.However,EBR,CC and TDM treatments did not significantly improve the growth,yield and quality of soybean and maize in the intercropping system.Therefore,the treatment of combination F treatment were more suitable growth regulators for the intercropping system.
