The Influence Of Internal Trust On Cooperative Behavior Of Livestock Cooperatives In South Xinjiang

Animal husbandry is an important part of agriculture,Xinjiang as China’s second largest pastoral area rich in animal husbandry resources,around the construction of livestock industry advantageous industrial b elt to optimize the adjustment of the layout of animal husbandry,through the scale of breeding,leading,sci ence and technology to lead the continuous development of innovation in these three areas to promote the h igh-quality development of animal husbandry in Xinjiang.2023 "Central Document No.1" emphasizes the promotion of livestock and poultry scale farm transformation and upgrading,promote the development of c ooperatives and improve the long-term mechanism of standardized management of farmers’ cooperatives.T he Party Committee of the autonomous region has formulated and issued the Opinions on Promoting the Hi gh-Quality Development of Xinjiang’s Animal Husbandry Industry.Xinjiang,especially the southern borde r region,should deeply implement the action of revitalizing the animal husbandry industry,establish the tec hnological and industrialized development of animal husbandry breeding with southern border characteristi cs,promote the construction of standardized breeding bases and livestock and poultry breeding bases,and p romote the high-quality development of the animal husbandry industry through the demonstration and leade rship of cooperatives and leading enterprises to drive farmers and herdsmen to continuously increase their i ncome and get rich.Development.Xinjiang livestock cooperatives have an important role in driving farmers and herdsmen,but in the de velopment of livestock cooperatives,the internal trust problem of members has a negative impact on coope rative behavior,which affects livestock cooperatives in driving farmers and herdsmen to increase their inco me and revitalize the livestock industry.Therefore,this paper focuses on studying the cooperative behavior of members from internal trust,understanding the current situation of development,internal trust and coope rative behavior of members of livestock cooperatives in South Xinjiang,and studying the influence of inter nal trust on cooperative behavior from the perspective of members,so as to help improve the internal trust s ituation of cooperatives,enhance the cooperative behavior of members,promote the standardized managem ent and healthy development of livestock cooperatives in South Xinjiang,and advance the livestock industr y in South Xinjiang It is of great significance to promote high-quality and modernized development of the l ivestock industry in South Xinjiang.Taking Kucha city as an example,this paper uses questionnaire survey method and field interview met hod to obtain research data from the perspective of members,divides internal trust into two dimensions of i nterpersonal trust and institutional trust,and uses descriptive statistical analysis and column association(cr oss-sectional)analysis method,combined with chi-square test and binary logit regression model to empiric ally analyze the capital cooperative behavior,production cooperative behavior,and management cooperativ e behavior of members.The factors influencing the cooperative behavior of members from individual chara cteristics,breeding situation,interpersonal trust,and institutional trust were systematically analyzed and stu died to provide a basis for the high-quality development of livestock cooperatives in the southern border ar ea.The following main conclusions were drawn from the study:(a)The survey statistics found that:(1)In terms of interpersonal trust,94.02% of the members trusted the president;91.26% trusted other members;this indicates that the interpersonal trust of the cooperative is good,and most of the members trusted the president and other members.(2)In terms of institutional trust,97.24% of the members trusted the management system of the cooperative;93.33% trusted the dividend sys tem of the cooperative;85.75% trusted the performance level of the cooperative;this indicates that the insti tutional trust of the cooperative is good,and most of the members trusted the relevant system of the cooper ative.(3)Regarding cooperative behavior,93.56% of the members participated in the capital cooperation of the cooperative;95.86% participated in the production cooperation of the cooperative;80.46% participated in the management cooperation of the cooperative;the cooperative behavior situation of the members was good,and most of the members actively participated in the cooperative behavior of the cooperative.(b)The analysis of empirical results by chi-square test and binary logit model showed that:(1)Interpe rsonal trust: trust of members in the president and trust among members had a significant positive effect on the three cooperative behaviors.(2)Institutional trust: the degree of regulation,fairness mechanism,and pe rformance level of cooperatives have a significant positive effect on the three cooperative behaviors.(3)Fu rther study found that: the higher the education level of the members,the higher the participation in capital cooperative behavior and production cooperative behavior;the higher the participation in capital cooperativ e behavior of the members who want to expand the scale of farming;the higher the participation in manage ment cooperative behavior of the members who are village cadres.Based on the above conclusions this paper proposes the following recommendations:(1)improve the establ ishment of the mechanism of Southland livestock cooperatives to improve the internal trust situation;(2)st andardize the management system of Southland livestock cooperatives to promote the cooperative behavior of the members;(3)increase the introduction of high-quality talents to achieve the modernization of Southl and livestock industry;(4)give full play to the advantages of Southland livestock cooperatives to drive the members to increase production and income.
