Soil salinization and its utilization are important scientific and production issues today and even in the future.Shandong Province is the largest province in peanut cultivation in China.Identifying and utilizing salt tolerant peanut varieties for promotion and application is of great practical significance for improving planting structure and increasing farmers’ income.At present,most of the research on salt-tolerant peanut germplasm screening is conducted in the field,which generally involves the entire growth period,and the field climate and geographical conditions are complex,with many interference factors.Especially for the analysis of agronomic traits and physiological indicators of plant morphology,there is a significant error.Therefore,the results of planting research under constant conditions in the laboratory are more reliable.In this study,firstly,according to the plant germination rate and seedling emergence rate of the main peanut germplasm Huayu 22 under different salt concentration(salt concentration of culture medium)stress conditions in the germination period,the salt concentration suitable for the identification of peanut salt tolerance was screened,and 413 peanut germplasm were screened and identified for salt tolerance in the germination period by using perlite as the substrate.53 peanut germplasms with good growth were selected,and then correlation analysis,descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis,principal component analysis,cluster analysis,and membership function analysis were conducted on the 53 salt tolerant germplasms during their germination and seedling stage to comprehensively evaluate them and identify salt tolerant germplasms.The main research findings are as follows:(1)Screening for salt concentration,salt tolerance of the main peanut Huayu 22 were identified through different salt concentrations,and a salt concentration of 5 g/L was selected.(2)This experiment counted the germination rate and emergence rate of 413 peanut germplasm resources under 5 g/L Na Cl solution stress,and selected 53 peanut germplasm with good growth performance.For example,SPRI20,SPRI79,SPRI85,SPRI89,SPRI91,SPRI93,SPRI94,SPRI105,SPRI144,SPRI148,Changhua 2.(3)Under the stress of 5 g/L Na Cl solution,a comparative analysis was conducted on the agronomic traits of 53 peanut germplasm seedlings selected.The results showed that the plant height of Luhua 9 was the highest,while the 87-2 plant was the shortest;Comparing and analyzing the main root length,it was found that Luhua 9 had the longest main root length,while SPRI94 had the shortest main root length;Comparative analysis of lateral root length showed that SPR1113 had the longest lateral root length and SPRI108 had the shortest lateral root length;Comparative analysis of aboveground dry weight shows that SPRI154 has the heaviest aboveground dry weight,while SPRI360 has the lightest aboveground dry weight;Comparative analysis of root dry weight showed that Luhua 9 had the heaviest root dry weight,while SPRI94 had the lightest root dry weight.(4)Descriptive statistical analysis of peanuts shows that the coefficient of variation of relative lateral root length,relative germination rate,and relative emergence rate among various indicators is relatively large,indicating significant differences among different varieties.The coefficient of variation of relative plant height,relative main root length,relative aboveground dry weight,and relative root dry weight is relatively small,indicating that there is little difference among different varieties.(5)Correlation statistical analysis shows that the correlation between relative main root length and relative lateral root length is the highest,with a correlation coefficient of 0.627 * *;The correlation between relative plant height and relative lateral root length reached a highly significant level,with a correlation coefficient of 0.439 * *;There is also a very significant correlation between the relative emergence rate and the relative germination rate,with a correlation coefficient of 0.405* *;The correlation between relative plant height and relative main root length also reached a significant level,with a correlation coefficient of 0.370 * *.(6)Through principal component analysis,three principal components were extracted based on the principle of feature values greater than 1.Principal component 1 mainly reflects the morphogenesis of seedlings;Principal component 2 mainly reflects the emergence of seedlings;Principal component 3 mainly reflects the accumulation of dry matter in seedlings.The cumulative contribution rate of the three principal components reached 74.525%.(7)The membership function method was used to comprehensively evaluate the D-value and rank 53 peanut varieties selected by the Shandong Peanut Research Institute.The comprehensive evaluation D value range of 53 peanut germplasm materials is 0.07-0.87.Luhua 9 has the highest comprehensive evaluation D value and the strongest salt tolerance,while SPRI94 has the lowest comprehensive evaluation D value and the weakest salt tolerance.(8)Cluster analysis shows that at a Euclidean distance of 1.5,peanuts can be divided into 5types based on the comprehensive evaluation D value: highly salt tolerant,salt tolerant,intermediate,salt sensitive,and highly salt sensitive.
