| Sweet cherry is the leading agricultural industry in Yantai,and also an important pillar industry for local rural economic development and farmers’ income increase.This industry plays an important role in the local rural economy.Yantai is located in the middle of Shandong Peninsulai.Its terrain is low hills,which covers the the city’s land area of 39.7%.The climate type is temperate continental monsoon climate,featuring large difference in temperature between day and night.This climate condition is suitable for sweet cherry cultivation.Yantai,with its own superior natural conditions,focuses on the development of cherry industry.This city has become one of the most suitable areas for cherry planting in China.In this paper,the phenological period of 8 sweet cherry cultivars mainly planted in Yantai area was investigated.The nutritional value of different fruits and fruit quality were evaluated according to the survey data.In addition,starting from the current situation of production,the author focuses on research in Yantai cherry planting area larger 5 boroughs city(Fushan,Laishan,Penglai,Qixia,Laiyang)cultivation area and yield,sweet cherry orchard cultivation management,cost investment,fresh fruit sales,storage and processing,cherry fruit of social organizations and so on present situation and the existing problems,and finds out the main issues,give develop advices to promote local fruit farmers to increase production and income.It provides decision-making reference for the development of Yantai cherry industry.The main results are as follows: From the fruit ripening stage,samit is the earliest,followed by red light,and Rabins is the latest.The objective evaluation of fruit quality was carried out by using the multi-dimensional value theory.The results showed that the three varieties of naon,Rabins and Samituo had good quality.In recent years,the area and output of cherry in Yantai increased year by year,accounting for 25% of the total area of cherry cultivation in China,with an annual output of 250,000 tons.This city has become the main producing area of sweet cherry in China.In terms of orchard cultivation and management,the cherry orchard in each producing area has a large proportion of tree age of 15-20 years.Cherry tree shape is mainly free spindle;Bioorganic fertilizer and medium and trace element fertilizer were the main fertilizers.The main fertilization methods were ditch application and hole application.Most of orchard is weeded by herbicide.Honeybee pollination is the main pollination method.Irrigation is dominated by flood irrigation.In the total input cost,land rent,fertilizer cost,pesticide cost and employment cost will vary among regions.Yantai sweet cherry sales are mostly self-sales,but in recent years,emerging e-commerce sales channels have also begun to steadily increase sales.Yantai city,a total of 518 storage,processing enterprises nearly 50 cooperation.Yantai cherry industry leading enterprises 1,each district cooperatives and associations have 149.Yantai sweet cherry planting industry has developed rapidly,but there is still room for improvement and promotion,such as cherry cooperatives,associations and e-commerce,supermarkets loose cooperation.The standardization of cherry production is low and the quality cannot be guaranteed.There are many cultivars of cherries,but few are exported.In the process of developing Yantai sweet cherry industry,it needs the support of local government and industry association,as well as the support of downstream enterprises. |
