Study On Extension Of Zonal Compound Planting Technology Of Maize And Soybean In Zhoukou City

According to the Statistical Communique of China’s National Economic and Social Development in 2022,China’s corn output reached 277.2 million tons in that year,an increase of 1.7 percent year-on-year.Soybean planting output was 20.28 million tons,an increase of 23.7 percent over 2021.It can be seen that the annual growth rate of soybean is much greater than that of corn.However,domestic production of soybeans still cannot meet domestic demand,and large amounts of imported soybeans are needed every year to meet demand.Among them in 2022,our country soybean imports reached 91.08 million tons,imports accounted for 81.8% of the total national soybean demand,if according to 135 kg/mu of soybeans calculated,to replace 90 million tons of soybean imports,needed to increase 667 million mu of arable land.Our limited cultivated land resources,land disputes,for the same season dry grain crop corn and soybean planting,has been a contradiction.It is not practical to rely on a large increase in soybean acreage.How to increase soybean production on the basis of ensuring stable corn yield is the concern of the Party and the state.The zonal planting technology of corn and soybean is a suitable choice,which can maximize the spatial structure of land,give full play to the benefits of existing land resources,improve land yield,and realize the increase of soybean production while ensuring the yield of corn.The technology was developed after more than 20 years of research and practice by professors and scholars in Sichuan Agricultural University.By changing the planting mode of maize net cropping,interplanting or interplanting with 2 ～ 4 rows of compact maize rows and 2 ～ 6 rows of soybean rows,and using key technologies such as new agronomy and new agricultural techniques of maize and soybean intercropping,we can give full play to the advantages of maize and soybean strip composite planting technology in increasing yield and improving efficiency.On the basis of keeping basically no yield reduction of maize,More than 100 kilograms of soybeans can be collected per mu of land.In recent years,the agriculture department has issued a series of supporting policies to encourage the expansion of the spread and application of corn and soybean strip composite planting technology.Zhoukou City is located in the Huang-Huai Plain,which is the main producing area of summer corn and summer soybean in Henan Province.It mainly produces net crops all the year round.The conflict between corn and soybean land is prominent,and the planting area fluctuates greatly between years.The popularization and application of the zonal composite planting technology of corn and soybean in Zhoukou City is of great significance for improving the comprehensive grain production capacity and increasing the effective supply of soybean.This paper takes the popularization of zonal composite planting technology of corn and soybean in Zhoukou City as the research object,and on the basis of analyzing the current situation of this technology,the research is gradually carried out.First of all,through the collection of relevant literature,this paper defines the concepts related to corn and soybean strip composite planting technology,and carries out the corresponding literature review.Then,the background and basic characteristics of the maize and soybean strip composite planting technology were summarized.Then,the paper expounds the current situation of the promotion of the zonal composite planting technology of corn and soybean in Zhoukou City,including the promotion situation of the technology in Zhoukou City,the main methods in the promotion and the effect of the promotion,and carries on the case analysis of the promotion effect.Then,it further summarized the problems faced by the promotion of the zonal composite planting technology of corn and soybean in Zhoukou city and analyzed the corresponding cases,and analyzed the restrictive factors of the promotion of the zonal composite planting technology of corn and soybean in Zhoukou city from different perspectives of the government market,farmers and technology itself.Finally,some countermeasures and suggestions were put forward for further popularization and application of zonal composite planting technology of corn and soybean in Zhoukou city.
