In this experiment,two varieties of forage sugar beet,FF10000and Xintianzhi No.1,were interplanted in the apple orchard of the Pyramid Livestock and Grass Farmers Professional Cooperative in Aksu Xinhe County.The best variety for interplanting under apple orchards.The corn kernels in the basal diet were replaced with different proportions of beet tubers,and the effect of the substitution proportion on the dry matter digestibility and the volatile fatty acid(VFA)concentration of the rumen fermentation broth was investigated by in vitro digestion experiments.Optimal replacement ratio for corn in beet replacement diets.Therefore,the technical system of interplanting production under apple orchard and the reasonable range of addition of forage sugar beet to the diet was established,in order to provide theoretical basis and experimental basis for the production and utilization of forage sugar beet.The main results are as follows:(1)The root yield per unit area of FF10000is 144581.85 kg hm-2,which is significantly higher than that of Xintiansi No.1(P<0.05),while the leaf yield is significantly lower than that of Xintiansi No.1(P<0.05).The leaf cluster height,median leaf length,maximum root circumference and single plant weight of FF10000fodder beet are higher than those of Xintian No.1(P<0.05).The single plant weight of FF10000fodder beet is 5.45 kg,which is 60.29%higher than that of Xintian No.1.(2)The moisture content of fodder beet FF10000roots was 85.52%.,significantly lower than that of Xintian No.1(P<0.05),and the contents of crude protein(CP),crude fiber(CF),crude fat(EE),crude Ash(Ash)and organic matter(OM)in dry matter were 9.48%,7.33%,respectively.The soluble sugar(ASS),non-fibrous carbohydrate(NFC)and in vitro dry matter digestibility(IVDMD)of FF10000fodder beet root were 25.08%,69.96%and 86.77%,respectively,which were significantly higher than that of Xintian No.1(P<0.05).(3)When 0%,20%,40%,60%The dry matter digestibility of Xinsi No.1 group was 81.39%,78.24%,79.62%,77.44%,73.75%and 70.17%respectively,and the dry matter digestibility showed a downward trend when the replacement ratio was over 40%.The dry matter digestibility of FF10000fodder beet group was slightly higher than that of Tiansi No.1,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).The results showed that the best proportion of fodder beet to replace corn grains in the diet was 40%,and the yield and fodder of FF10000fodder beet were better than Xintiansi No.1,which was an excellent variety suitable for interplanting in orchards.
