| Diarrhea is the main disease that endangers the growth and development of lambs,and1-15-day-old lambs are the most serious. There are many infectious factors causing diarrhea, such as bacteria, viruses, parasites and non-infectious factors such as feeding environment; Therefore, timely detection of important pathogens of lamb diarrhea and effective prevention measures are the key to control the disease. In this paper, the results of retrospective investigation on diarrhea of sheep in two intensive sheep farms in Hainan Province were combined with laboratory test results, and the prevention and control measures were formulated as follows :1.Through retrospective investigation, the average breeding scale of two intensive sheep farms in Hainan is more than 500;Two common and multiple diseases are mainly lamb diarrhea, sore mouth, pneumonia, nutritional diseases;Among them, the incidence of diarrhea in lambs in A field was 35.18%(184/523),and the mortality rate was 41.3%(76/184).The incidence of diarrhea was 23.29%(157/674)and the mortality was 33.12%(52/157)in the lambs of field B.Lamb diarrhea was the main cause of death of the two lambs.Laboratory test results2.Laboratory test results(1)Detection of 16 Sr DNA.16 Sr DNA amplification and sequencing analysis were performed on117 diarrhea samples; The results showed that 10 kinds of bacteria including Escherichia coli,Shigella,Salmonella,Proteus mirabilis,Klebsiella pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus were detected, and the detection rate of Escherichia coli was the highest 62.39%(73/ 17).(2)Isolation and identification of bacteria and drug sensitivity test.341 feces of diarrheal lambs were collected and 153 feces of healthy lambs were isolated and cultured.A total of six bacteria were isolated, including Escherichia coli,Salmonella,Shigella,Proteus mirabilis,Klebsiella pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus. The highest detection rate of Escherichia coli in diarrhea samples and healthy samples was 62.75%(214/341)and 37.25 %(57/153),respectively.It can be judged that the main pathogenic bacteria of diarrhea are Escherichia coli.Susceptibility 21 antibiotics to isolated strains showed that they were resistant to penicillin, erythromycin and other 4 antibiotics and sensitive to cephalosporins.(3)Virus disease detection.Bovine viral diarrhea antigen(BVDV)and rotavirus antibody(RV)were detected in 233 diarrhea samples and 121 healthy samples by ELISA.The positive rates of BVDV were 16.30%(38/233)and 4.13%(5/121),and the positive rates of RV were 3.43%(8/233)and 0.82%(1/121),respectively.The positive rate of reexamination of BVDV lambs after 3 weeks was 0%(0/43),indicating that BVDV was transient infection in the two fields.(4)Parasite detection.Cryptosporidium antibodies in goats were detected by ELISA.The positive rate of diarrhea was 12.01%(28/233),and the positive rate of health was 5.79%(7/121).The above results showed that the pathogen of lamb diarrhea was single infection and mixed infection, mainly Escherichia coli. The mixed infection rates of BVDV + Escherichia coli,BVDV +Escherichia coli + Proteus mirabilis and Escherichia coli + Cryptosporidium were 10.72%(25/233)and6.87%(16/233),5.15%(12/233).Based on the retrospective investigation of diarrhea disease of lambs in two intensive sheep farms, combined with the laboratory test results and the actual climate environment and feeding management, the prevention(Vaccine injection, drug prevention)was formulated. At the same time strengthen the ewes, lambs feeding management and disinfection of comprehensive prevention and control measures and application; The good effect after implementation provides a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of diarrhea in Hainan lambs. |
