Diameter at breast height(DBH)is the most basic factor in the establishment of tree growth model.However,most of the current measurement methods can only be used to measure the DBH for a short time,and can not be used for continuous measurement.In this study,combined with sensor,embedded,computer technology,a real-time,continuous measurement of DBH growth monitoring system was developed.One year field experiment showed that the system could adapt to the real-time,continuous and accurate acquisition of DBH growth of trees in sample plot.The main research and work are as follows:(1)A continuous measuring device for tree DBH growth was developedThe devices were mainly composed of sensor,MCU,display screen,data transmission module,clock module,power management module and other components.The test showed that the devices had the advantages of low power consumption,sensitive response,accurate measurement and strong practicability.They could be applied to the measurement of the DBH from 50 mm to 380 mm,and the measurement accuracy can reach 1 μm.Based on 24 times of automatic measurement(They measured at one o’clock,two o’clock,etc)of DBH in one day,the real-time remote measurement and data wireless transmission of DBH are realized.(2)A data storage management software is developedIn order to facilitate the display and processing of data,a data management software was designed and developed,which integrated data collection,storage,management and statistics.The intelligent display and personalized processing function of the measured DBH data were realized after wireless transmission.(3)The change law of DBH growth was analyzedBased on the measurement of DBH growth for one year,the growth period and dormancy period of DBH were preliminarily established,and by the analysis of the daily variation of DBH,the rule of daily variation of DBH was preliminarily clarified,which provided a basic reference for the establishment of DBH growth model.
