Study On The Adoption Behavior Of Rice And Fishery Comprehensive Planting And Breeding Model Of Rice Growers In Jiutai District

In today’s society,people pay more and more attention to the protection of ecological environment.Green and environmental protection have become the theme of the times.In traditional agricultural production,in order to improve grain production,farmers use excessive pesticides and chemical fertilizers,which aggravates rural environmental pollution.Ecological planting and breeding model can well solve the contradiction between improving agricultural production efficiency and protecting agricultural ecological environment,and promote agricultural sustainable development.In order to promote the development of ecological planting and breeding mode,the state has successively issued relevant policies and measures.As the decision-maker of agricultural production and management,farmers’ behavior decision-making directly affects the implementation effect of agricultural policy.Based on the field investigation of rice growers in Jiutai District,Changchun City,Jilin Province,this paper first analyzes the development status and benefits of the comprehensive planting and breeding mode of rice and fishery,then analyzes the cognition of rice growers on the comprehensive planting and breeding mode of rice and fishery,and finally makes a regression analysis on the factors affecting the adoption of the comprehensive planting and breeding mode of rice and fishery by using the binary logistic model.The main conclusions are as follows:First,through the research on the development status of rice and fishery comprehensive planting and breeding model in Jiutai District,Jiutai district has the advantages of rice field resources for the implementation of rice and fishery comprehensive planting and breeding,its scale is in the growth trend,and produces good economic,ecological and social benefits.However,through in-depth exploration,there are the following problems in the current development status of rice and fishery comprehensive planting and breeding model in Jiutai District: mainly driven by the government,the implementation areas are relatively concentrated;The technical threshold is high,farmers do not systematically master the comprehensive planting and breeding technology of rice and fishery,and rely on the guidance of professional technicians;A large amount of funds need to be invested in the early stage,and the implementation of subsidy policy is not clear.In addition,the implementation area of comprehensive planting and breeding of rice and fishery accounts for a small proportion of the total rice planting area,accounting for only 6.9% in 2020.The use of chemical fertilizer and pesticide residues in traditional rice planting areas will affect the quality of rice and fishery products.Second,through sorting out the questionnaire,in 183 valid questionnaires,42 farmers are willing to adopt the comprehensive planting and breeding mode of rice and fishery,and 141 farmers are not willing to adopt it.Among the rice growers who did not intend to adopt it,28 farmers had never heard of the comprehensive planting and breeding model of rice and fishery.Most rice growers only understand the comprehensive planting and breeding mode of rice and fishery at the level of listening and speaking,and have little understanding of deep-seated contents such as technology and subsidies.Third,through the empirical analysis of binary logistic model,it is concluded that age and years of rice planting are the two most significant influencing factors.In addition,the actual operating area,the proportion of agricultural income in total household income,whether to participate in rice planting cooperatives,whether to think the income is higher than the traditional model,and whether to understand the subsidy policy are all factors that have a significant impact on whether rice farmers adopt the comprehensive planting and breeding model of rice and fishery.These five variables are closely related to farmers’ family income.Combined with the rational small-scale farmer theory in the theoretical basis,it is concluded that economic benefit is an important factor affecting rice growers to adopt the comprehensive planting and breeding model of rice and fishery.Based on the research conclusions,the following countermeasures and suggestions are drawn:(1)the government should strengthen the publicity and promotion of the comprehensive planting and breeding mode of rice and fishery;(2)adjust measures to local conditions and further optimize the local comprehensive planting and breeding mode of rice and fishery;(3)attract young people to return to rural areas to develop the comprehensive planting and breeding mode of rice and fishery;(4)improve the market construction of rice and rice crab in crab field.
