In order to further implement the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets",the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to strengthen ecological protection and establish a market-oriented and diversified ecological compensation mechanism.Natural forest is the main body and essence of forest resources, and it is the terrestrial ecosystem with the most stable community and richest biodiversity in nature.Comprehensive protection of natural forests and the establishment of a natural forest protection system are conducive to the effective restoration of natural forest systems, scientific protection of biological diversity, and a significant increase in ecological carrying capacity. The purpose of ecological compensation is to protect and sustainably utilize ecosystem services. It is a public system that uses government and market means to adjust the interests of stakeholders in ecological protection. Therefore, ecological compensation is one of the effective ways to implement the policy of completely prohibiting logging of natural forests. In this study, based on the background of comprehensive logging of natural commercial forests,486 household survey data were selected in the southern collective forest area.)calculated the willingness of farmers to participate in the deforestation suspension of natural forests;secondly, the Heckman two-stage model was used for benchmark regression to explore the farmers’ willingness to participate in natural forest deforestation and the influencing factors of the willingness to be compensated. In the above,a prediction was made on the willingness of farmers to participate in the deforestation suspension of natural forests;then the quantile regression was used to analyze the factors affecting the willingness of farmers to participate in the deforestation suspension of natural forests;finally, the propensity score matching method was used to analyze the The conclusions of the benchmark regression are tested for robustness. The research results show that:(1)72.02% of farmers are willing to accept the government’s compensation for the deforestation of natural forests, and their willingness to receive compensation is 517.95 yuan per hectare, which is higher than the current national subsidy standard for collectives and individuals(225 per hectare per year).(2)The main factors that affect farmers’ willingness and amount of compensation are: among the types of employment, farmers who are engaged in occupations with strong agricultural correlation have higher willingness to be compensated than those who are engaged in weakly related agriculture;Education level, forest land fragmentation degree and village collective willingness to receive compensation are all key factors that significantly promote the formation of farmers’ willingness to compensate;in addition to farmers’ gender, farmers’ age,the degree of forest land fragmentation and the evaluation of the natural forest logging policy all inhibit farmers. An increase in the amount of compensation.(3)The farmers’ evaluation of the natural forest logging ban policy only affects the medium compensation level, and the farmers’ age and the degree of forest fragmentation have an impact on the high level of willingness to be compensated.Based on the above conclusions, this study puts forward the following suggestions from the perspective of farmers’ willingness to receive compensation and the government’s perspective: broaden the channels for fund raising and reasonably improve the ecological compensation standard;the government strengthens the publicity of ecological environmental protection and improves the ecological awareness of farmers;improves ecological compensation The system adopts different compensation standards for different compensation groups.
