Muskmelon likes temperature and is not cold-resistant.The frequent occurrence of overwintering and low-temperature weather hinders the development of muskmelon cultivation in sunlight greenhouse.Grafting technique is the best way to solve the problem of chilling injury of Muskmelon.The effects of grafting on chilling resistance,growth and quality of Muskmelon plants were studied by using 7 different rootstocks as control,and the results were as follows:1.The results of three grafting methods showed that the survival rate of grafting was over 95%,the operation was simple,and the survival rate of grafting was over90% In the process of splitting grafting,the rootstocks and scions were damaged greatly,and the survival rate was the lowest.Therefore,the grafting method is chosen.2.Malondialdehyde(MDA)content and relative electric conductivity of grafted seedlings on different rootstocks were significantly lower than that of Muskmelon self-rooted seedlings under low temperature stress The soluble sugar content of grafted seedlings was significantly higher than that of self-rooted seedlings,in which A1 and A2 increased the most rapidly,and the activities of SOD,POD and CAT of grafted seedlings were significantly higher than those of self-rooted seedlings after 72 hours of low temperature treatment and recovery stage,the cold resistance of A1 and A2 was stronger in 7 kinds of rootstocks through the changes of physiological indexes and activities of protective enzyme system.The comprehensive evaluation by the membership function method shows that A1 and A2 have the best low temperature resistance.3.Through measuring plant height,stem diameter,leaf area,fresh weight,dry weight and chlorophyll,it was found that grafting had different effects on different stages of Muskmelon,with the extension of time,the difference between grafted seedlings and self-rooted seedlings first increased,then decreased and finally became stable.The results showed that grafting affected the growth of plant,but the effect was weakened gradually with the growth of plant,and A1 and A2 were the best.4.Through the measurement and analysis of yield,fruit shape index,flesh thickness,soluble sugar,soluble solids and vitamin C of grafted Muskmelon,it is found that the yield of grafted muskmelon is greatly increased,the fruit phase is better and the flesh is full,the nutritional elements remained relatively stable,and the taste did not change significantly.The comprehensive evaluation by the membership function method showed that A1 and A2 performed best.Comprehensive Evaluation showed that the grafting effect of different rootstocks was from strong to weak: A1 > A2 > A6 > A7 > A5 > A3 > A4 > CK. |
