Study On The Environmental Protection Investment Effect Of Minfeng Special Paper Company

On the basis of steady social progress and rapid economic progress,people have gradually paid attention to the ecological environment and physical and mental health issues,which have also been paid attention by governments all over the world.Under the background of environmental regulation,all links of enterprise production and operation should be standardized.At the same time,all walks of life are encouraged to carry out pollution autonomy and pollution screening,which puts forward higher requirements for enterprises to invest in environmental protection.Papermaking and paper products industry is one of the most heavily polluting industries in China,and also one of the key targets for pollution control and resolute investigation in China.In view of the above background,this paper selects Minfeng Special Paper Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Minfeng special paper),a listed paper company in Zhejiang Province,for case analysis to explore the various effects of Minfeng special paper’s investment in environmental protection funds on the production and operation of enterprises under the positive response to national policies.Firstly,this paper combs the research literature of domestic and foreign scholars,mainly including:the concept of environmental protection investment,the factors affecting environmental protection investment and the effect of environmental protection investment,defines the concepts of "environmental protection investment" and "environmental protection investment effect",and takes stakeholder theory,social responsibility theory and sustainable development theory as the theoretical basis of the article.Secondly,after the concept appraisal,it analyzes the current situation of environmental protection investment,the scale of environmental protection investment and the factors of environmental protection investment of Minfeng special paper.Thirdly,by using the case analysis method and comparative analysis method,this paper compares the investment scale of Minfeng special paper with Jingxing paper,analyzes the economic,environmental and social effects of its environmental protection investment on the enterprise,and draws the following conclusions:(1)in terms of economic effects,it mainly analyzes the financial performance analysis,market value,financing ability and green innovation ability,Minfeng special paper’s investment in environmental protection and continuous investment in environmental protection funds have a positive impact on the improvement of the enterprise’s financial performance,but they do not have a significant effect on the improvement of the enterprise’s market value.At the same time,the purchase of cleaning equipment and investment in scientific research and development can better enhance the enterprise’s brand image,enhance the enterprise’s financing ability and green innovation ability.(2)In terms of environmental effects,it mainly analyzes energy conservation and emission reduction.Minfeng special paper pays attention to the total amount control of pollutant emission in all links of production and operation.Formulate relevant plans for water and electricity conservation,and strictly follow the plan to restrict production and operation.It can effectively reduce the discharge of pollutants and do a good job in the recycling and disposal of wastes.(3)In terms of social effects,it mainly analyzes the brand image of the enterprise,the environmental impact on interested parties and the government.Minfeng special paper exerts an environmental impact on the suppliers,customers,engineering parties,waste recycling parties and other relevant parties of the company’s products.At the same time,it increases its research and development of products.On the one hand,it can get government subsidies,on the other hand,it can also get praise from the government,and effectively avoid administrative penalties for inadequate environmental governance.While implementing the concept of"sustainable development",improve the brand image.Finally,according to the results of case analysis,this paper puts forward relevant policy recommendations and case enlightenment.Help enterprises in the same industry more accurately understand the importance of environmental pollution control,actively undertake environmental responsibility,and achieve the comprehensive effect of economic growth,environmental protection and social praise.
