Wear resistance has always been one of the research hotspots of sport turf.Most of the studies on turf traffic resistance were carried out under field test conditions,and large devices are generally used for simulated traffic.However,there are few small simulated wear devices used in wear resistance experiment on potted turf.On the other hand,the effect of exogenous application on improving the wear resistance of turf is not clear.On the basis of determining the wear intensity of the new potted simulated wear machine with different gradient of wear time,this study further studied the effect of three exogenous substances on perennial ryegrass turf quality under wear stress,so as to accumulate more foundation for the study of wear resistance of the turf.The main content of the research included:(1)The turf were treated with new potted simulated wear machine(2,4,8,16,32 min)and an equal-weight FG nail type standard football shoe(20,40,80,160,320 times)respectively,and the influences of the two on the turf quality(density,coverage,biomass,etc)were compared,so as to determine the fitting relationship between the wear intensity of the new potted simulated wear machine and the standard football shoes.(2)The potted grass was treated with 800,1200 and 1600 times diluted seaweed extract,1.0,2.0 and 3.0 mmol/L potassium silicate and1.0,2.0 and 3.0 g/m2 root powder respectively.By measuring the quality of turf,the optimal applied concentration of three exogenous substances was selected.(3)The optimal concentration of seaweed extract,potassium silicate and root powder were applied to the potted turf respectively,and the new potted simulated wear machine was used to carry out mild(2 min)and severe(8 min)wear treatment on the turf.Then the turf quality,physiological response(chlorophyll,proline,malondialdehyde,etc.)and morphological characteristics of root system(total root length,surface area,volume,root activity,root acid phosphatase)of all treatments were studied.The main results of this study are as follows:(1)Linear fitting analysis and weighted average were carried out for five indexes of density,coverage,biomass,color and uniformity.And the results show that 2,4,8,16 and 32 min of the new potted simulated wear machine with frequency of 1000 times·min-1 are approximately equal to 27,33,45,63 and 233 times of the same weight standard football shoes friction respectively.Treatment time of new potted simulated wear machine(every other day),<7min is mild wear,7min~16min is moderate wear,and≥16min is severe wear.(2)The grass density,coverage,growth rate,clipping and biomass of the 800,1200,1600times diluted seaweed extract were better than treatment CK,but there were no significantly differences among all the treatments.And comprehensive ranking:800 times>,1200 times>,1600 times>control CK.The indexes of the turf treated with 1.0,2.0 and 3.0 mmol/L potassium silicate were better than the control CK,but there were no significantly differences among all the treatments.And comprehensive ranking:2.0 mmol/L>3.0 mmol/L>1.0mmol/L>control CK.The underground biomass of the turf treated with root powder 1.0,2.0and 3.0 g/m2 were significantly higher than that of the control CK.However,when it comes to other indexes,compared to control CK,there was no significant difference.And comprehensive ranking:2.0 g/m2=3.0 g/m2>1.0 g/m2>control CK.(3)From the comprehensive analysis of turf quality,physiological response and root morphological characteristics,perennial ryegrass treated with 800 times seaweed extract,2.0mmol/L potassium silicate under the stress of mild and severe wear showed better performance in density,coverage,biomass,etc than the control CK.And the content of free proline,malondialdehyde,etc decreased to different degrees.The seaweed extract and potassium silicate had a certain promoting effect on the root growth of perennial ryegrass.And in terms of perennial ryegrass treated with 2.0 g/m2 rooting powder,compared to control CK,there was no significant difference on physical and physiological indicators.However,compared to control CK,the total root length,total surface area and total volume can be significantly increased in all three degrees of wear simulation.
