This experiment was aimed to study the effect of a compound preparation with the main components of propionate monoglyceride, butyrate monoglyceride, and lauric acid monoglyceride on the growth performance, immune function, and fecal flora of weaned piglets. The experiment also studied the effect of replacing antibiotics and determined the appropriate addition amount of the compound prepared in the piglet’s diet.In this experiment,180 25-day-old piglets were randomly divided into five groups with four replicates in each group and nine piglets in each replicate. These five groups were carried OTU at the same time. The blank control group did not add antibiotics and short-chain fatty acid glycerides, while the antibiotic control group added 20g/t enramycin. The test groups Ⅰ,Ⅱ,and Ⅲ added 600,1000,1400 g,respectively/t compound preparation. The pre-trial period of the experiment was set to three days and the trial period was 42 days.On the 0th and 42nd days of the experiment, all piglets were weighed on an empty stomach, and the total feed consumption of each group was recorded, which was used to calculate the average daily gain(ADG),average daily feed intake(ADFI)and feed-to-weight ratio(F/G).The diarrhea of piglets in each test group was recorded and the frequency of diarrhea was calculated. On the 42nd day of the experiment, one piglet was randomly selected from each repetition of the test group for blood sampling from the anterior vena cava to determine the serum biochemical indicators(BUN,TG,T-CHO,TP,ALB,Ca,P,GPT,GOT,AKP,MDA)and the serum immune indicators(IgA,IgG,IgM,C3,C4,IL-2,IL-4).From three days before the end of the experiment, fresh mixed feces were collected from each replicate at a fixed time every day,a part of which was mixed with hydrochloric acid and dried to determine the protein digestibility, and the rest was dried directly to determine the related apparent digestibility. On one day before the end of the experiment, the fresh untouched fecal samples of each replicate in each group were collected, which were distributed to cryovials and quickly put in liquid nitrogen for quick freezing to detect fecal flora indicators. The results showed that:(1)Compared with the blank control group, the ADG and ADFI of the antibiotic control group and the test group II were significantly increased(P<0.05),F/G was significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the ADFI of the test groups I and III were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Besides,compared with the blank control group, the diarrhea rates of other groups were significantly reduced(P<0.01).(2)Compared with the blank control group,in the antibiotic group, except BUN and Ca,other serum biochemical indexes were significantly improved(P<0.05).The level of TP,BUN,ALP,MDA,P.T-AOC in the serum of the test group Ⅰ all increased(P<0.05).and the content of ALB and TG decreased significantly(P<0.05).The level of TP.ALB,TG.T-CHO,ALP,MDA and T-AOC in the serum of the test group Ⅱ were significantly increased(P<0.05),and other indexes were not significantly different from those in the blank control group(P<0.05).The level of TP,ALT,MDA and T-AOC in the serum of the test group Ⅲwere significantly higher than those in the blank control group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in other indexes(P<0.05).(3)Compared with the blank control group, the IgG and IgM indexes in the serum of the test group Ⅲ were significantly lower(P<0.01),and there was no significant difference in immunoglobulin among the other groups. The IL-2 content of test group Ⅰ was significantly lower than that of the blank control group(P<0.01).The content of C3 in the antibiotic control group and test group Ⅱ was significantly higher than that of the blank control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in IgA and C4 indexes among the groups(P>0.05).(4)The digestibility of GE,Ca and P in each group was not significantly different in the experiment(P>0.05).Compared with the blank control group, the EE of test groups Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ were significantly increased(P<0.05).The digestibility of CP in test group Ⅲwas significantly improved(P<0.05),and the difference in other groups was not significant.(5)In this study, the five groups shared 412 OTUs,accounting for 2.96%of the total OTUs.In terms of the number of fecal species, the test group Ⅱ and Ⅲ were significantly lower than other groups(P<0.05),and the Chaol index of the test group Ⅲ was significantly lower than that of the blank control group and the antibiotic group(P<0.05).The Shannon value of the test group Ⅲ was significantly lower than that of the antibiotic group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference among the other groups(P>0.05).The phylum Firmicutes and Bacteroides in each group occupied the dominant position in the relative abundance of piglet fecal microorganisms, and there was no significant difference in abundance among the groups.Analyzed at the subordinate level, the dominant genus,Lactobacillus and Eubacterium of the test group Ⅱ were more abundant than other groups. In summary, adding 1000g/t medium and short-chain fatty acid monoglycerides to piglet diets can significantly improve piglet growth performance, reduce diarrhea rate, significantly improve piglet serum biochemical indicators, and enhance the body’s immune response. It has a good substitution effect on antibiotics.
