In order to explore the regulatory effect and mechanism of soil moisture on root number of sweet potato tuber, improve the appearance quality of root tuber and increase root yield, the fresh sweet potato varieties Yanshu 25(YS25)and Longshu 9(LS9)were used as experimental materials in this experiment.Five soil relative water content levels were set up,which were 50%(W1),60%(W2),70%(W3),80%(W4),90%(W5),respectively,and the relative water content of soil was 50%(W1),60%(W2),70%(W3),80%(W4),90%(W5),respectively.The field experiment was carried out in the dry shed of the Agricultural Experimental Station of Shandong Agricultural University, and the irrigation was carried out according to the method of measuring soil moisture and supplementary irrigation. The main results are as follows:1 Effect of soil Water content on Root number and appearance quality of Sweet Potato; The suitable soil water content(W3)increased the number of root tubers per plant, increased the root yield, decreased the proportion of large tubers and increased the proportion of medium tubers, increased the length and diameter of tubers, improved the quality and uniformity of tubers, improved the appearance quality of tubers, and improved the commerciality of sweet potato tubers, the suitable soil water content(W3)increased the number of roots per plant, increased the yield of roots, decreased the proportion of large tubers, increased the proportion of medium tubers, increased the length and diameter of tubers, improved the appearance quality and marketability of tubers.2 Effect of soil water content on root growth and development in the process of adventitious root differentiation into tuber root and its relationship with root tuber formationSuitable soil water content(W3)increased the number of adventitious roots during root formation, promoted the formation of sweet potato roots, increased root length and root diameter, and promoted root longitudinal elongation and radial growth.at the same time,it also promoted the increase of root fresh weight and aboveground fresh weight, which laid a good foundation for root formation.3 Effect of soil Water content on Endogenous hormone Metabolism during adventitious Root differentiation and its relationship with Root formationSuitable soil water content(W3)decreased the activities of IAAO and POD in adventitious roots during root formation, increased the content of IAA and increased the content of ZR,which was beneficial to promote the division and proliferation of cambium cells and improve the activity of primary cambium.(the original writing method seems to be your research result, but it is actually your inference.Suitable soil water content(W3)also reduced the GA3 content in the process of sweet potato adventitious root differentiation, which was beneficial to promote the radial growth of young roots, increase the thickness of young roots and promote the differentiation and formation of root tubers.4 Effect of soil water content on energy metabolism in the process of adventitious root differentiation into tuber root and its relationship with root tuber formationSuitable soil water content(W3)increased the enzyme activities of SDH,CCO and H~+-ATPase,which were closely related to mitochondrial energy metabolism in adventitious roots during root formation, ensured the functional state of mitochondria, increased the contents of ATP,ADP and energy charge in adventitious roots, satisfied the energy supply of energy requirements such as cell division during root formation, and was beneficial to improve the activity of primary cambium and promote root formation.5 Effect of soil water content on carbohydrate metabolism during adventitious root differentiation and its relationship with root tuber formationThe suitable soil water content(W3)increased the activity of sucrose invertase, the content of sucrose and the contents of glucose and fructose in adventitious roots during root formation. It provides more respiratory substrates and macromolecular synthetic substrates for adventitious roots to differentiate into tuber roots, which is beneficial to improve the activity of primary cambium. At the same time, the suitable soil water content(W3)decreased the enzyme activity of SS in starch decomposition direction of 10 d-25 d after planting, inhibited the anabolism of starch direction, increased the SS enzyme activity and starch content after 25days,and promoted the smooth transition of sweet potato from root formation stage to root expansion stage.6 Effect of soil water content on lignin metabolism during differentiation from adventitious root to root tuber and its relationship with root tuberSuitable soil water content(W3)decreased the activities of PAL and POD,the key enzymes of lignin metabolism, and lignin content in adventitious roots, which was beneficial to reduce the Lignification degree of columnar cells in adventitious roots and promote the differentiation of adventitious roots into tuber roots.
