Abstract/Summary:
In order to explore the effect of Spraying Manganese Fertilizer on the growth and quality of sweet potato under different soil moisture conditions, three varieties of huangjinyu,Qinshu 5 and Longshu 9 were used as experimental materials. The water content was set as W1(50% of the maximum field capacity),W2(60% of the maximum field capacity)and W3(70% of the maximum field capacity),with four manganese sulfate concentrations of 0.05%,0.2%,0.7% and 1.5%,Water control was set as CK.By measuring the vine length, stem diameter, aboveground fresh weight, protein, reducing sugar, total soluble sugar, starch, net photosynthetic rate and Yield Related Factors of sweet potato under different treatments, the effects of water and manganese sulfate on the growth and development of sweet potato and the interaction of water and manganese were studied, which can effectively provide the basis for the nutritional regulation of sweet potato,At the same time,it provides a theoretical basis for the high quality cultivation of sweet potato. The results are as follows(1)The effect of manganese sulfate on the growth and development of sweet potato plants was very significant in the whole period. When the appropriate amount of manganese sulfate(t = 0.05%,0.2%,0.7%)was applied, the plant could grow healthily. When the concentration of manganese sulfate was too high(t =1.5%),the plant growth would be inhibited.(2)Appropriate manganese sulfate(t = 0.05%,0.2%,0.7%)could increase net photosynthetic rate and promote protein synthesis. When manganese concentration was too high(t = 1.5%),the increase of net photosynthetic rate and protein content was inhibited. The effect of soil moisture on protein increased first and then decreased. When soil moisture was too high, protein synthesis was inhibited. The effect of water manganese interaction on net photosynthetic rate was very significant in the whole period, and the effect on protein content was very significant in 14 d and 56 D.(3)Manganese sulfate was positively correlated with reducing sugar content and starch content at suitable concentration(t = 0.05%,0.2%,0.7%).When the concentration was too high(t = 1.5%),it inhibited the formation of reducing sugar and starch. The effect of manganese sulfate on starch was very significant in14-56 days, and lost significance in 56-70 days. The effect of water manganese interaction on reducing sugar was very significant in the early stage of treatment(14d),and gradually decreased with the passage of time.At 42 d,the interaction was not significant. The effect on starch was not significant at 14 d and 70 D,but significantly decreased at 28-56 d.(4)The effect of manganese sulfate on soluble sugar showed a trend of increasing at first and then decreasing. The concentration of manganese sulfate(t = 0.2%,t = 0.7%)had the most obvious promoting effect on the content of soluble sugar. When the concentration of manganese sulfate was too high(t = 1.5%),it would inhibit the content of soluble sugar. The interaction effect of water and manganese was not significant at 28 days, but significant at other periods.
