The Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou(HIRFL)plays an extremely important role as a large scientific facility for frontier scientific research in materials science,physics,biology,and other fields.Once the beam generated by the heavy ion accelerator has been accelerated to a certain energy,it needs to be extracted to the experimental terminal or to the next accelerator system.The CSRm Kicker power supply is used to produce fast pulse current for Kicker magnet,and then the fast pulse magnetic field is established to complete the beam extraction.In order to improve the maximum magnetic stiffness of the HIRFL-CSRm and provide a higher quality beam,the CSRm Kicker power supply,as a key equipment,has been upgraded.The new power supply proposes new control requirements for the power supply monitoring system.It not only needs to complete the full digital control of the power supply,but also needs to complete the high-speed output waveform acquisition.Therefore,this paper designs a power supply monitoring system that integrates high-speed acquisition and control functions.The CSRm Kicker power supply monitoring system selects Xilinx K7 series xc7k325tffg900-2 FPGA as the core processing unit,and based on the all-fiber architecture to complete the remote monitoring of high-voltage charging power supply and thyratron auxiliary power supply,charging and discharging timing control work,to achieve the full digital control of Kicker power supply.Besides the system uses an ADC with a sampling rate of 2.5Gsps,a resolution of 12 bit and support for the JESD204 B interface output to acquire the hundred nanosecond level load output waveform of the Kicker power supply,and then completes high-speed transmission of output waveform data based on the optical conversion module SFP and Gigabit Ethernet.The power supply monitoring system designed in this paper makes power supply debugging easier and faster,and power supply status monitoring more comprehensive.At the same time,the realization of high-speed output waveform acquisition function lays the foundation for the establishment of output waveform database and the implementation of synchronous adjustment function of multi-module power supply discharge.The system has been verified on the CSRm Kicker power supply,which provides an important reference for the design of HIAF Kicker power supply monitoring system.
