Research On The Characteristics Of Traditional Residential Buildings In The Lunan Region And Strategies For Their Conservation And Development

Traditional villages are one of the material carriers of a region’s spiritual culture,and an important carrier of people’s production and life,experience and wisdom.These villages show us the rich history,culture,skills and other regional cultures of the region and are of high research value.In this paper,we have conducted a lot of research on traditional houses in the Lunan region,and obtained first-hand information through visits to traditional villages and houses.This paper is based on a systematic classification and mapping of traditional houses in the Lunan area.The information obtained is used to build a database of traditional houses in the Lunan area,which will provide basic information and data support for the future conservation and research of traditional houses in the Lunan area.This paper firstly analyses and integrates the domestic and international literature related to the study,and provides an overview of the background of the study of traditional dwellings in the Lunan region from a macro level,and briefly explains the purpose and significance of the study.Through extensive reading of the literature,we discover the gaps and shortcomings of the current status of the research objectives in order to build the framework of the article and propose appropriate research methods.It also discusses the regional culture as well as the natural environment,history and humanities and folklore concepts of the Lunan region,in order to prepare for the next step of field research.Secondly,the research will be used to describe the distribution areas and basic elements of traditional dwellings in the Lunan region,to classify the layout of traditional dwelling compounds using typological methods,and to map and sort out the information on villages,compounds,architecture and construction techniques obtained from the field research.After a targeted analysis of the research objectives,the regional differences between the different types of dwellings are summarised.Finally,based on the current situation of the development of traditional dwellings in the Lunan region,recommendations are made for conservation and development strategies that focus on the principles of historical heritage and scientific and sustainable conservation.The research results of this paper can provide relevant government departments and academic research groups with basic information on traditional dwellings in the Lunan region,and add to the protection and inheritance of traditional cultural material carriers.
