Landscape Improvement Design Based On The Spirit Of Place Theory

Traditional villages are an important carrier of rich cultural and historical resources in China.As the essence of agricultural civilization and the foundation of the Chinese nation,they are the cultural heritage bearing the historical memory of the Chinese nation,but also an important carrier for the growth and sustenance of homesickness [1].With the acceleration of urbanization,the economic structure,social relations,production and life style and the form of public space of the traditional villages have all changed.The traditional villages in Pingpo Village are also facing the potential problems of decline or lack of vitality,and even the gradual extinction of the place spirit of the village.Therefore,how to enhance the cultural atmosphere of traditional villages,improve the identification of village places,and restore the villages Vitality and reshaping the local spirit of traditional villages are the key problems that we urgently need to solve urgently.It is of great significance to study the realization path of the spirit of place to reshape and build the spirit of traditional villages.This study selected Baoshan city flat slope village as the research object,try to place spirit theory applied in the traditional village landscape protection,and through the literature research,field research,qualitative analysis,quantitative analysis and other research methods,and draw the following conclusions:(1)build a reasonable sense of direction and identity evaluation index system for village place spirit,can find the traditional village landscape continue to maintain or need to upgrade landscape elements and place environment.(2)The shaping of the spirit of the village place can be used as an important means to improve the landscape design of the traditional village,according to the judgment of the strong,medium and weak spirit of the existing village place For the places that need to be promoted,the places with weak spirit should be designed by means of enhancing people’s sense of direction and identity,so as to create a traditional village with distinctive cultural characteristics.(3)based on the spirit of landscape design model is applied to empirical research flat slope village,according to the landscape elements evaluation system combed the flat slope village landscape elements and evaluation,on the basis of different flat slope village landscape elements status protection degree is the strength of the spirit of place elements is analyzed,combined with the analysis of the results,concluded that flat slope village planning drawings to demonstrate the spirit of "place spirit" theory of traditional village landscape design is feasible.
