| As an invisible community bond,community cohesion is mainly embodied in the mutual help,trust and common value between neighbors.Community cohesion can provide a harmonious social living environment for community residents,so as to form a healthy social mentality and altruistic social emotions,so it plays a decisive role in the healthy development of society.With the drastic changes of society and economy,the neighborhood relations become increasingly indifferent.Community parks help residents understand and trust each other and establish a sense of identity,which is the main way that natural environment supports social health.Domestic and foreign scholars’ researches on the impact of community park on community cohesion mostly start from the single factor influence,but fail to study the impact of community park on community cohesion from the interaction of various factors.Therefore,from the perspective of configuration,this study explores which community park green space factors are coupled into configuration paths to influence community cohesion.In this study,by reviewing the influence factors of community parks on community cohesion proposed by previous studies,eight antheacs with the highest frequency were obtained,which were naturalness perception,spatial sexiness awareness,safety shelter sexiness awareness,cultural perception,and green space scale,accessibility,vegetation coverage and park activity facilities.Then,the data of 8antecedents were obtained through field research and software analysis,and Pearson correlation analysis was used to extract and verify whether the 8 antecedents entered the qualitative comparative analysis model.In this study,40 community parks in urban areas of Hangzhou were selected as research objects,and 1030 community residents were investigated on the spot.Sampson neighborhood relationship Scale was used to evaluate community cohesion at the individual level,which was used as the result variable of qualitative comparative analysis.The necessity analysis and configuration analysis of antecedent variables and outcome variables were carried out to explore the difference of influence of different types of community parks on community cohesion and the corresponding path of promotion.The main results of this study are as follows:(1)The Pearson correlation analysis model was used to verify 7 anandependent variables:naturalness perception,spatial sexiness awareness,safe shelter sexiness awareness and cultural perception,which were significantly correlated with the green space scale,accessibility and vegetation coverage of the park and community cohesion,while only park activity facilities showed no significant correlation.(2)Through qualitative comparison and analysis of fuzzy sets,it is concluded that there is no single necessary factor to promote community cohesion in the seven antecedent variables of community park:perception of naturalness,perception of spatial desirability,perception of safety shelter desirability,perception of culture,scale of green space,accessibility and vegetation coverage,which need to be jointly driven by multiple factors to explain the reasons from the perspective of configuration.(3)In this study,four influencing paths of community parks are concluded to promote community cohesion: natural perception park path,space environment friendly park path,road network structure supported park path,cultural and landscape integration park path.Among them,the space environment friendly park path coverage is the highest and the number of explanatory cases is the largest.Based on the research on the promotion path of community cohesion,this study proposes effective ways to improve community cohesion from the perspective of the use of community parks,and provides certain suggestions for cultivating residents’ community consciousness to promote community development,which is conducive to the high-quality development of community cohesion and the improvement of people’s physical and mental health.It is helpful to provide reference and scientific basis for community park construction,fine management and public policy formulation. |
