With the development of transportation and social economy,the construction of expressway in China is gradually improved,and the mileage of expressway is increasing year by year.People put forward higher demand for expressway.In order to meet the driver ’s safe and fast driving needs,we have to start to study the highway with higher driving speed,and the super highway appears in the public view.However,due to the increase of driving speed,the driving environment on the expressway becomes complicated.If the traffic sign setting is unreasonable and the driver can not identify it in time,some important road traffic information will be missed.The driver can not grasp the information of the road ahead in advance,which may affect the efficiency of highway driving and increase the risk of driving.In severe cases,it may lead to traffic accidents.At present,although there have been studies on super highways in China,most of them are about road alignment design and road economy.There is a lack of relevant research on the setting of traffic signs under super high-speed conditions,and there is no support for relevant norms and standards.Therefore,it is of great significance and application value to obtain the reasonable setting parameters of traffic signs under ultrahigh speed conditions by studying the driver ’s safety recognition of guide signs.According to the characteristics of super highway,the visual recognition of traffic signs and the influence of different speed conditions on the visual recognition of driver signs,this thesis analyzes the visual recognition characteristics and reading mechanism of driver ’s guide signs under super high speed conditions.Analyze the influencing factors of driver ’s guide sign recognition under ultra-high speed conditions from the attributes of guide signs,and analyze the evaluation indicators of driver ’s guide sign safety recognition.Based on the analysis of the visual recognition characteristics of the driver ’s guide sign,the main research objects that affect the visual recognition of the driver ’s sign are selected,and the static visual recognition experiments under different ultra-high speed conditions and different Chinese characters height conditions of the guide sign are designed.A total of 75 groups,the driver wears an eye tracker to collect eye movement data such as fixation points and visual recognition distances during the experiment,so as to quantitatively analyze the relationship between the height of the Chinese characters of the guide sign,the driving speed and the driver ’s visual recognition distance and establish the correlation model between the three.Based on the visibility principle of the driver ’s guide sign,the reasonable word height value of the guide sign under different ultra-high speed conditions is obtained,and the reasonable layout parameters of the guide sign under different ultra-high speed conditions are obtained.Combined with the general situation of the 200 km test section of Gaochun-Xuancheng Expressway,the application is carried out.The research results can provide reference for the setting and research of guide signs on superhighways in the future,and promote the development of superhighways in China.
