This thesis is selected from the topic of “Generic technique for the recalibration of optical load history data” of the national key research and development program “Recalibration technology of the domestic multi-series remote sensing satellite historical data”.The key technology of the lunar radiometric calibration is researched for the Moderateresolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)on the Terra satellite, together with the Medium Resolution Spectral Imager-II(MERSI-II)on the Fengyun-3 satellite, which has important academic significance and potential application prospect. The main research content and innovation of the thesis are as follows:Based on the SGP4 orbit prediction model and JPL calendar, the satellite observation geometry is calculated, and the satellite observation time of the moon is obtained. The complete lunar image is extracted from the MODIS/MERSI-II data by adopting the forecast observation time.An oversampling fitting method for the whole lunar phase is proposed, and the normalized lunar calibration coefficients are calculated by the distance and oversampling corrections on basis of the ROLO model. The long time series of the normalized calibration coefficients is obtained and the on-orbit stability of the remote sensor is tested, whose results are compared with the classical Sea Wi FS oversampling correction model and MODIS oversampling correction model. In the visible band, the long time series of the normalized calibration coefficients for the lunar phase fitting algorithm and MODIS algorithm has good consistance and accuracy for the calibration results of the two remote sensors. In the near infrared band, two algorithms have good correction effect in most bands.Due to the lunar phase angles for the MODIS and MERSI-II generally higher than 45°,the image oversampling algorithm is not suitable for the high lunar phase. Therefore, the correction effect of the classical Sea Wi FS oversampling algorithm is relatively poor.In view of the crosstalk phenomenon in the lunar images,a correction method is proposed, and the correction results show that this algorithm has a good effect on the crosstalk removal in the same band. This research has a great significance for the lunar radiation calibration of the remote sensing satellite together with its on orbit stability monitoring.
