The Application Of "Metaphor" In The Design Of Theme-based Landscape Architecture

As a physical expression of human spiritual emotions,monumental architecture is bound to contain some specific spiritual and emotional connotations."Metaphor" is a kind of metaphorical technique,using one thing as a symbol to refer to the connotation of another thing,which is a mode of thinking based on the structure of human experience accumulated over a long period of time,it can stimulate people’s thinking and association,and make people feel the inner meaning of architecture.In this paper,we start from the metaphorical design method and guide people to feel the history and culture deeply,and summarize the use of metaphor in architectural form and landscape design through literature research method,concept analysis method,survey research method and case study method.The research results are expected to be of some significance to the relevant theoretical research and practical activities.The main research of this paper is:In the first part,the research background and related social issues of this paper are analyzed,the purpose and significance of this paper are explained,and the current research status at home and abroad is analyzed.By understanding the development and design methods of monumental architecture abroad,the main problems of domestic monumental architecture and landscape are then analyzed to further define the theme of the article.In the second part,we systematically analyze the concept of metaphor and the techniques and expressions of metaphor in architecture and landscape design,summarize the methods of metaphor in architecture and landscape design,and lay the foundation for the later practical research.In the third part,excellent design cases at home and abroad are listed,and the proposed theories and methods are tested by analyzing and summarizing the cases,with a view to providing a basis for concrete practical research.In the third part,excellent design cases at home and abroad are listed,and the theories and methods are tested and applied in this design by analyzing and summarizing the cases.In the fourth part,through practice to support theoretical research,the basic architectural and landscape situation of the Southwest Lu Battle Memorial Park is firstly elaborated,the problems of the current architectural landscape of the park and the necessity of the existence of metaphors in the architectural and landscape design are explained,then the overall design idea is proposed,the design strategy is expressed in three aspects: architectural form,culture and landscape,and finally the specific design content is elaborated in the order of the overall architectural form design elements and landscape layout.In the fifth part,the value of the use of metaphorical in the memorial park is summarized,and the social value and historical and cultural preservation value brought by this paper.In this paper,the design transformation of the architecture of the memorial park from the metaphorical design technique can effectively excavate the inner meaning of traditional and regional culture,help people understand the cultural connotation conveyed by the architectural landscape,and be the best continuation of regional culture,humanistic historical style and humanistic spirit.Using metaphorical design as a design technique for monumental buildings and landscapes also aims to arouse people’s attention to history and culture and the protection of architecture.
