The strength of concrete structures is a key aspect of building construction quality assurance.Traditional concrete rebound hammers have been in use for more than 50 years now.These rebound hammers require manual reading of pointers and recording of rebound values,which is cumbersome and easily affected by environmental factors.Measurement errors and data tampering may occur,and it also requires multiple people to work together,resulting in high labor costs.This paper aims to address the shortcomings of current concrete rebound hammer,improve the efficiency of on-site testing of concrete strength,ensure the reliability of measurement data,and enhance the intelligence of concrete rebound hammer.Therefore,this paper combines IoT technology,embedded technology,and web front-end and back-end development technology to design an intelligent rebound hammer system,which consists of an intelligent rebound hammer device end and a supporting cloud management platform.The main content of this article is as follows:Firstly,this paper proposes the overall design of the system and briefly explains the architecture of the intelligent rebound hammer system based on the four layer architecture of the Internet of Things.The system consists of different layers,with the device serving as the perception layer that collects speech information and rebound value data during the measurement process.The collected data is processed and uploaded to the platform layer through the network layer for data operation management,such as classification,storage,and retrieval.Finally,the application layer provides IoTbased applications and services,presenting the cloud management platform to users in the form of a web page.Secondly,this paper introduces the hardware design and embedded program design of the intelligent rebound hammer based on STM32F103C8T6.In addition to measuring rebound values,the device also includes extra functionalities,such as voice inputting struct location information and NB-IoT communication.The hardware design includes power supply,main control module,laser ranging module,Internet of Things module,voice module,touch screen module and structural design.Thirdly,this paper introduces the software design and deployment process of the intelligent rebound hammer system cloud management platform.The cloud management platform includes a TCP server,a database,a back-end program,and a front-end web page.The TCP server is developed through Node.js,the database is implemented using MySQL,the backend program is built through the Express framework,and the front-end page is built through the Vue.js framework.By deploying the database,web frontend and backend programs,and other files to the server,users are able to access the cloud management platform webpage through the internet.Finally,this paper presents the corresponding device-side and cloud management platform tests for the intelligent rebound hammer system.The device-side tests include IoT communication functionality and rebound measuring functionality tests.The test results indicate that the rebound hammer device meets the expected requirements and is suitable for most concrete strength measurement scenarios.The cloud management platform tests validate user login,project management,data viewing,data exporting,and other functions.The test results show that the database,TCP server,and web frontend and backend programs are running stably,and all expected functionalities are implemented.
