With the continuous progress of society and the rapid development of China’s expressway construction,it is expected that in 2030,a total length of 118,000 kilometers of national expressway network will be built,the mountain mileage is more and more,resulting in a significant increase in the number of high fill embankments,and the area and soil use of the traditional retaining wall structure surge.As China is a country with a serious shortage of land reserve resources,the shortage of land resources is a problem that hinders the development of expressways in China,promoting the land saving technology has become a key problem to be solved by project builders.Based on the reinforcement project of retaining wall,the buttress retaining wall is selected in the actual project,a new composite retaining structure-stressed mutual anchor retaining wall is proposed.The following research work was mainly conducted:(1)Through the model test,the stress characteristics of the pressed mutual anchor retaining wall are studied.The research object is single-layer pressed mutual anchor retaining wall,analyzing the stress characteristics and deformation characteristics of retaining wall at different anchorage positions,so that the best installation position of single-layer anchor cable of pressed mutual anchor retaining wall is 1 / 2 above the wall;(2)The numerical simulation of pressed mutual anchor retaining wall is conducted by ABAQUS finite element software to study the force characteristics of the retaining wall under the action of single layer anchor cable,obtain the results and comparison with the model test;analyze the force software of the new retaining wall under construction stage and operation stage,especially the wall displacement,wall back soil pressure distribution,and the stress mechanism of pressed mutual anchor retaining wall.(3)For the new retaining wall construction technology and monitoring method of the study,the new retaining wall put forward a set of reasonable and complete monitoring scheme,field monitoring throughout the construction and operation stage,with the help of anchor cable load gauge,soil pressure box,all station instrument,the anchor cable,retaining wall force and displacement of real-time monitoring,do anchor cable and retaining wall force change visualization research,improve the related theory of new retaining wall.Through the combination of model test and numerical simulation,the best anchorage position of the new retaining wall,the mechanical characteristics of the retaining wall during the construction and operation period have been studied,as well as the construction technology and monitoring methods that can be applied to the practical engineering,which enriches the theoretical research of this type of retaining wall.The results show that this kind of retaining wall has the advantages of high bearing capacity,good stability and small lateral displacement,and has a good practical prospect in solving the problem of high filling subgrade support.
