The viscoelastic damper has become a commonly used energy dissipation component because of its strong energy dissipation capacity,high switching performance,easy to produce and installation,and is used extensively for engineering structures.In this paper,based on the previous research of our research group,a high-efficiency energy-dissipation viscoelastic damper is raised to magnify the damping coefficient of the traditional viscoelastic damper and increase the energy dissipation and shock absorption of the structure.The structural analysis software SAP2000 was used to analyze the seismic performance of a 10-layer frame structure under the action of small earthquakes at the sites of class I,II and III.Then the elastic-plastic dynamic analysis and seismic vulnerability analysis of the high-efficiency energy dissipation viscoelastic damping reinforced frame structure and the high-efficiency energy dissipation viscoelastic damping reinforced frame structure are conducted individually,so as to provide a reference for the high-efficiency energy-dissipation damping design of frame structures.The specific research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The structure of the high-efficiency energy-dissipating viscoelastic damper was given,the calculation formula of damping amplification coefficient under frequent earthquake(small earthquake)、rare earthquake(large earthquake)and extremely rare earthquake(mega earthquakes)was derived,the seismic response of frame structure with setting this damper to small earthquakes was studied,and the seismic response of frame structure with traditional viscoelastic damper was compared with that of frame structure.The results indicated that the seismic response curves of frame-structure setting high-efficiency energy-dissipation viscoelastic damper and the traditional viscoelastic damper with setting the same amplification factor were almost coincident,and far less than the corresponding value of the frame structure without dampers.In addition,the equivalent damping ratio of frame-structure setting high-efficiency energy-dissipation viscoelastic damper was also derived.The example analysis showed that the difference between the response of the top displacement and maximum interlayer displacement of frame-structure setting high-efficiency energy-dissipation viscoelastic damper before and after the damping equivalence wasno more than 10%.It can meet the engineering requirements.In addition,the seismic response of frame-structure setting high-efficiency energy-dissipation viscoelastic dampers was significantly lower than that without dampers.(2)The PKPM software was used to set high-efficiency energy-dissipation viscoelastic damper for seismic reinforcement of the ten-storey traditional seismic frame structure with reinforcement in the calculation example,and form high-efficiency energy dissipation viscoelastic damping reinforced frame structure.The elastic-plastic dynamic analysis of the reinforced frame structure,the frame structure without damping after reinforcement,and the traditional viscoelastic damping frame structure with the same damping magnification is carried out respectively.The results show that the high energy dissipation viscoelastic damping reinforced frame structure has almost the same strong damping performance as the traditional viscoelastic damping reinforced frame structure with the same damping magnification.The corresponding plastic hinge energy dissipation of each floor of the two structures is almost the same,and the development of plastic hinge is far from reaching the failure state.Both structures have strong resistance to the overall collapse of the structure.(3)The frame structure is equipped with high energy dissipation viscoelastic damping device for damping reinforcement,forming high energy dissipation viscoelastic damping reinforcement frame structure.As the damping of the structure increases,the reinforcement of the structure decreases.SAP2000 was used to analyze the dynamic elastic-plastic time history and seismic vulnerability of the structure under the action of large and large earthquakes.The maximum displacement at the top of the structure,the maximum displacement Angle between each floor,the energy dissipation of the damper,the development of plastic hinge and the collapse mode of the structure were obtained.By comparing with the corresponding values of the high energy dissipation viscoelastic damping reinforced frame structure,The results show that the two structures have strong damping effect under the action of large and large earthquakes,and the damping performance of the two structures is basically the same,and both have strong ability to resist the collapse of the whole structure.
