Investigation And Utilization Analysis Of Stone Processing Waste (Stone Powder) Resources

On the basis of understanding the general situation of global stone resources and investigating the main stone resources in Jilin Province and even China,this study estimates the resource amount of stone powder produced during the processing of decorative stone in Jilin Province according to the processing loss rate and the exploitation amount of decorative stone,which provides a data basis for the resource utilization of stone powder,and predicts the economic benefits if all these stone powders are utilized as resources according to the estimated results.According to the current research,the characteristics of stone powder are analyzed and the ways of resource utilization of stone powder are discussed.The results are as follows:(1)There are abundant stone resources in the world.According to each continent,Europe and Asia in the five continents have large stone reserves and mining capacity,and China,Indian and Turkish are the major stone resources countries in Asia;European stone resources are mainly distributed in the European Union,and Italian stone resources are the most abundant among EU members.There are stone resources in 31 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions in China,and they have all been developed.The total proven stone storage resources(in2021)are 46,959,682,700 cubic meters,and more than 10 million tons of stone waste materials are imported from India,Turkey and other countries every year.(2)There are more than 40 kinds of building materials and other nonmetallic minerals in Jilin Province,including three kinds of building stones,andesite is rich in over 18 million cubic meters,granite in six kinds of decorative stones is about 48 million cubic meters,and marble for decorative purposes is only about 1.7 million cubic meters(in 2020).In 2018,the resource amount of stone powder produced in the process of processing raw materials to specification boards for decorative stones in Jilin Province is estimated to be about 300,000 tons.If all300,000 tons of stone powder are used to replace cement mortar to prepare high-strength recycled concrete,it will create about 52.5 million economic benefits,but the amount of stone powder added in concrete is not as much as possible,so not all waste stone powder can be recycled.(3)Most of the stone powders produced during stone processing in Changchun City,Jilin Province have not been collected and counted,and the level of resource utilization of stone powders is low,with great utilization potential.It can be used to make glass,ceramics,glazed surfaces and sintered bricks after being collected and treated,and can also be used in construction industries such as concrete and mortar admixture.Lime rock powder and Dali rock powder rich in calcium carbonate are used to make terrazzo,artificial stone and hollow brick.However,according to the current level of resource utilization,the output of stone powder is much higher than the amount of resource utilization,and it is the key to exploit more ways of resource utilization of stone powder as much as possible.
