Abstract/Summary:
With the advancement and development of intelligent connected vehicles,cars have gradually evolved from original transportation tools to intelligent interactive spaces.The rapid development of in vehicle information systems has led to cognitive overload due to excessive information display.How to integrate important driving information in limited space is currently a key issue in the design of in car humanmachine interfaces.Automotive AR-HUD(Augmented Reality Head-Up Display),as a representative technology in the intelligent cockpit,combines augmented reality with in vehicle head up display technology to project various information related to driving tasks into the driver’s field of view through virtual imaging.However,due to the complexity,dynamism,and randomness of the driving environment,deviations in user perception and understanding of the situation can greatly reduce the level of situation awareness during the driving process and increase the probability of driving errors.Based on this,it is of great significance to study the influencing factors of user situation awareness in complex driving situations,as well as the design strategy of AR HUD human-machine interface based on situation awareness.(1)Based on the research on the theoretical model of situational awareness,the influencing factors of situational awareness in the driving environment were explored,and the visual experience in the human-machine interface interaction experience of ARHUD was analyzed in conjunction with the automotive AR-HUD human-machine interface interaction theory.Based on existing situation awareness theoretical models,a conceptual model of situation awareness in driving scenarios was constructed from the perspectives of user status,environmental factors,and target tasks.Finally,the guidance and necessity of situational awareness theory for the design of AR HUD human-machine interface were discussed from the perspective of the three-level model of situation awareness.(2)In the user research section,questionnaires and user interviews were mainly used to investigate the information needs of human-machine interfaces.In addition,through in-depth interviews with typical users,the pain points in the current AR-HUD human-machine interface were extracted,and combined with user expectations,the functional architecture of the AR-HUD human-machine interface based on driving scenario awareness was proposed.(3)In human-machine interface analysis,qualitative and quantitative analysis was first conducted on information categories,clarifying the importance relationship of each type of information.Secondly,the content and layout of AR-HUD interface information were analyzed,and the optimal information color and form coding for ARHUD human-machine interface design was determined through experimental research,laying the foundation for the subsequent design strategy and output.(4)Based on the design strategy obtained from the summary research,three scenario aware AR-HUD human-machine interface schemes were designed,and the design scheme was evaluated and optimized using multi criteria decision-making method.The optimal scheme was ultimately determined,and detailed design was carried out for the scheme.There are 38 figures,28 tables and 82 references in this thesis.
