The widespread popularity of autonomous cars is an inevitable trend in the future development of the automotive industry.However,before the car reaches fully automated driving,there must be a man-machine shared driving phase in which manual driving and automatic driving work together.When the automatic driving system is in a critical situation,the driver needs to take control of the vehicle to avoid automatic traffic hazards arising from the failure of the driving system.When the driver in the man-machine shared driving mode is in a non-driving related task,the driver' perception and reaction ability of the surrounding environment information are greatly reduced.Therefore,it is especially important to promptly and effectively to arouse drivers who are in non-driving related tasks.Aiming at the above problems,this paper arouse the drivers in the man-machine shared driving mode by means of multi-modal stimuli,and establishes an evaluation index system of multi-modal stimuli,driver situation awareness and driving performance.According to the experimental results of the simulated driving platform,the effects of different stimuli schemes were evaluated in combination with the subjective and objective data of the driver.In order to establish multi-modal stimuli,driver situational awareness and driving performance evaluation index system,this paper deeply studies the human information processing model and the situational awareness model in dynamic decision making.Based on the auditory and tactile signals,in terms of multi-modal stimuli,the evaluation indexes of driver's perceptibility,understandability,disturbing degree and effectiveness of the stimulus signals are proposed.In the aspect of driver's situation awareness,the situation awareness evaluation indexes based on the overall situation assessment technology and the eye movement parameters collected by eye tracker is proposed.In terms of driving performance,according to the purpose of this study,dynamics parameters related to vehicles in the process of drivers taking over the control of vehicles for obstacle avoidance operation are used as the evaluation indexes of driving performance.This paper designs a related experiment based on the simulated driving platform,and combines the relevant evaluation index system and the trend of the indicators related to driver's ECG signal in the experimental process to verify the effect of the proposed multi-modal stimulation scheme.The internal influence mechanism of multi-modal stimuli on driver's situational awareness arousal and driving performance is discussed.The results show that based on multi-modal stimuli,driver's situation awareness and driving performance evaluation index system and driver ECG signal related indicators,the combined sound and vibration stimulation scheme is superior to single mode in most indicators,but the optimization effect is not obvious enough on one of the two indicators.In general,the combination of sound and vibration stimuli scheme can promptly and effectively arouse the driver in the non-driving related task in the man-machine shared driving mode,the driver has a higher degree of situation awareness and better driving performance,which comprehensively enhance the driver's wake-up effect.
