Research On Eco Material Product Design Based On Material Driven Design

With the rapid development of modern social science and technology,the ecological environment has been damaged,and the problems of energy consumption and resource waste on the earth have become increasingly serious.Ecological environmental protection and the development of ecological materials have gradually received widespread attention from the international community.For designers,the main content of ecological materials research is to transform them into design materials and apply them to product design.However,designers often focus on the research of product design methods based on ecological materials,and rely more on material technicians for the process of converting ecological materials to design materials,limiting the full development of ecological materials.Therefore,it is necessary to study the transformation of ecological materials to design materials and the application methods of transformed design materials in product design.This article focuses on the application of ecological material product design,explores the design methods of ecological material products,and uses material driven design theory to better apply ecological materials to product design innovation research.The main research content is the innovative methods and strategies for product design driven by ecological materials.Literature research,case analysis,experimental research,survey questionnaire,and focus group methods are used to help carry out subsequent work.Firstly,the research background,purpose and significance,domestic and international development status,research methods and framework of ecological material product design were discussed.Then,the definition,classification,characteristics,and application of ecological materials in product design were sorted out for current research and case analysis,and corresponding ecological material product design methods were summarized.Introduced the concept,methods,and development overview of material driven design theory,conducted current research and case analysis on the application of ecological material product design based on material driven design,summarized the ecological material product design methods in material driven design,and elaborated on the relationship between ecological materials and product design,the relationship between material driven design and product design,and the relationship between material driven design and ecological material product design.Referring to the "combination method",propose suggestions for the conversion of design materials,analyze and summarize the factors that affect the conversion of ecological materials to design materials into groups,and enrich the content of each group by adding material combinations,processing techniques,and expressions of other ecological materials or even non ecological materials in the design material conversion process.Based on one or some properties of the ecological material,multiple experimental combinations are formed together with the other three groups of content.Based on existing experimental conditions,designer experimental abilities,and strategies for transforming ecological materials into design materials,select achievable combination experiments,and then conduct design material conversion experiments.Propose suggestions for obtaining ecological material product design language based on "synaesthetic translation",and propose innovative methods for ecological material driven product design based on material driven design theory.Finally,based on the innovative method of ecological material driven product design,using rice husk material as an example,the transformation of design materials,material experience,acquisition of material product design language,and final product design were carried out.On the one hand,the transformation path from rice husk material to design materials was expanded,and on the other hand,product design language was obtained through material experience.Combined with the previous summary of ecological material product shape design,material design,functional design Other design methods were used to expand product design and broaden the application fields of rice husk materials.Finally,a specific design practice was conducted using coaster design as an example.Propose an innovative approach to product design driven by ecological materials,aiming to guide the application of ecological materials in product design during the design phase,expand the current development methods of ecological materials,and also conduct a detailed analysis of the development and application of ecological materials in product design applications,to improve the utilization of ecological materials in product design and development,and to help designers better use ecological materials,To some extent,it can solve the problems of ecological environment destruction,energy consumption and resource waste on the earth,and contribute to the work related to natural ecological environment protection and ecological civilization construction.
