| In recent years,the speed of aging in China’s society has continued to increase,and the trend of aging has become increasingly severe.How to actively respond to aging and meet the needs of the elderly has become a focus of social attention.With the community elderly care model gradually becoming the preferred choice for the elderly,community commerce has become an important place to meet the living and social needs of the elderly.Research has shown that a comfortable travel experience can have a positive impact on the physical and mental health of the elderly,and the external space of community commerce,as a necessary part of elderly shopping,is the key to implementing active aging and improving the quality of life of the elderly.Therefore,this article takes the external space of community commerce as the carrier,starting from the perspective of the elderly,to explore the real needs of the elderly for this space,and proposes targeted optimization strategies for the external space of community commerce.This article starts from the perspective of improving the quality of life of the elderly and actively aging,and takes the external commercial space of communities in the urban area of Beijing as the research object to conduct optimization strategy research.Firstly,based on the current research status at home and abroad,combined with the characteristics of community types and elderly populations in Beijing urban areas,four evenly distributed and different types of community commercial external spaces in Beijing urban areas were identified as the research objects.Secondly,through on-site research,conduct multi-dimensional research on the planning and design,spatial organization,and facility services of its external space,and summarize the existing situation and problems of the external space.At the same time,questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews were conducted to investigate the physiological characteristics of elderly people’s travel behavior and usage preferences;From a psychological perspective of space satisfaction and usage needs,summarize the problems and difficulties that elderly people encounter in community commercial external spaces,and analyze their usage needs for commercial formats,external public spaces,and facade design.Finally,in response to existing spatial and usage issues,combined with the usage needs of the elderly,the optimization principles of community commercial external space in an aging society are proposed,taking into account the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly.From the perspectives of spatial combination richness,elderly activity comfort,travel safety,and emotional care,external space optimization strategies suitable for the elderly group to engage in commercial consumption and social activities are proposed.Optimizing the aging of community commercial external space is an effective means to improve the quality of life of elderly people under the community elderly care model.Through in-depth exploration of the external commercial space of Beijing urban communities,targeted optimization strategies for external space are proposed based on the needs of the elderly and spatial design methods. |
