With the increasing trend of urban rail transit construction year by year, subway travel has become the main way for modern people to travel. In the urban spatial structure, the subway station space,as the center of high concentration and activity of urban pedestrian flow, greatly plays a traction role in the development of the city. However, for the current subway station area, which is mainly oriented towards transportation functions, the functional attributes of the subway station space have not been fully developed and utilized, resulting in a lack of synchronization with urban construction pace,a lack of comprehensive utilization of resource advantages brought by high-density pedestrian flow, low spatial vitality, and difficulty in meeting spatial needs.Realizing the synchronized development of urban resources under the established spatial structure, and scientifically coordinating and improving spatial facilities is the optimal path to align the realization of station space with the process of modern urban construction.Spatial syntax is an effective analytical method for achieving scientific coordination of spatial facilities.Interactive facilities are spatial components with communication and interaction as their primary function.Placing them in the space of subway stations can play a positive role and effectively solve the development problems of subway space. This article will focus on this and use spatial syntax as the guiding method to analyze the subway station area, using the placement of interactive facilities in the station area space to solve spatial problems. The construction of Nanchang Metro Line 3 was completed and began operation at the end of 2020.It is a newly built subway line in Nanchang City in recent years, and it is timely to use it as the main example for research. This paper selects the typical stations of Nanchang Metro Line 3 as the research object, and conducts spatial analysis of the station area within a radius of 1 km.Through spatial syntax theory and depthmap software, data analysis is conducted on the site scope of typical sites, with global integration and spatial comprehensibility as the main data basis for spatial research.Field investigations are conducted, and existing problems in the construction of site space and public facilities are analyzed.By summarizing the problems,it is concluded that the subway station space needs to be activated with the injection of new "media" to meet the behavioral needs of the population in the station space and the sustainable development of the station space. And interactive facilities are arranged in the form of "media" in the station space to form spatial structural elements, which can effectively solve spatial problems by triggering interaction between "station city people".Guided by the theory of spatial syntax, this study deeply analyzes the placement and location strategy of interactive facilities in station space, and proposes a design strategy for interactive facilities to be implemented in the practical application of the placement of interactive facilities on Nanchang Metro Line 3.Finally,in practical application, the most suitable location for arranging interactive facilities is determined through the integration analysis of spatial syntax, perspective analysis, and pedestrian flow simulation.Based on the analysis results,a design plan is proposed based on the placement strategy,in order to provide reference and reference value for promoting urban development, improving station space functions, and enhancing the level of station space facility construction.
