Abstract/Summary:
With the continuous development of university campus construction,college students’ demands for the quality of campus sports environment are increasing.However,due to factors such as outdated buildings,insufficient facilities,limited space,lack of human-centered design,and the expansion of college enrollment,the original sports spaces are increasingly unable to meet the growing sports needs of students.As an essential part of the campus outdoor space,university campus road space not only connects various functional areas on campus but also serves as an essential area for teachers and students to walk and engage in daily activities.More and more college students choose to participate in slow physical activities such as running on campus roads,making university campus road space an important spatial carrier for slow physical activities.However,the supply of most campus road spaces in China still cannot meet the demands of college students for slow physical activities.Therefore,there is an urgent need to improve the quality of university campus road space environment to provide a more comfortable and safe environment for slow physical activities and increase college students’ enthusiasm for participating in slow physical activities.This paper takes the campus road space of Jilin University Qianwei South Campus as the research object,exploring the relationship between university campus road space environmental elements and slow physical activities,and deeply understanding how campus road space environmental elements affect slow physical activities.Firstly,the selection and evaluation quantification methods of traffic-related elements,building-related elements,and landscape facility-related elements in university campus road space environmental elements were determined through relevant basic research.Based on online open data and field research,campus road space environmental element data was collected,and slow physical activity data was collected using the Keep software platform.Secondly,SPSS correlation analysis was used to screen the campus road space environmental elements related to slow physical activities and eliminate environmental elements that are not related to slow physical activities.Next,linear regression was used to analyze the influence mechanism of significantly correlated environmental elements on slow physical activities,and the appropriate value range of road space environmental elements was determined through scatter fitting analysis.The standardized coefficient was used to compare the differences in the influence strength of various elements.Finally,based on the significantly related road space environmental factors and the specific conditions of Jilin University Qianwei South Campus,suggestions for improving campus road space environmental factors were proposed to encourage college students to participate in more slow physical activities and promote their physical health.The aim of this paper is to optimize and improve university campus road space environmental elements to create a more comfortable and safe campus slow-motion environment for students.At the same time,it provides a reference for other universities facing similar problems in campus renovation and new campus construction,jointly promoting the development of university campus road space construction in China,and further promoting the vigorous development of college students’ slow physical activities and healthy living.
