In the system design process of mechatronic products under the background of Model Based System Engineering(MBSE),the system model constructed by System Modeling Language(SysML)can provide a clear description of the system architecture,and the system modeling tools need to be integrated with simulation tools and CAD tools for the system verification of different stakeholders’ needs and the visual representation of the geometric structure in the conceptual design.The system modeling tools need to be integrated with simulation tools,CAD tools,and other tools to achieve it.In the conceptual design phase,the automatic generation of simulation models and geometric models based on system models can help system engineers rapidly perform system analysis and simulation,visualize design results,and accelerate the product development process.Based on this requirement,an integrated design and simulation method for mechatronic systems is proposed in this paper,which can introduce the overall synchronous verification of models and visual representation of geometric information in the logic architecture stage of system design,and the corresponding framework for synchronous model integration is constructed in this paper.Its main contents are as follows.(1)The integration framework of system design and system simulation based on the SysML profile and mapping relationship is proposed.Based on the extension function of the SysML language,the SysML profile corresponding to the architecture model elements in the system simulation model and the mapping relationship between them are constructed based on the example of Simulink;according to the synergy of various modeling functions in the process of system simulation model construction,the simulation architecture integration function of this paper is integrated with the existing functions for integrating other simulation model elements to form a framework for the integration of system design and system simulation.The integration framework is formed from the logic architecture stage of the system model.(2)A method for rapid generation of system model geometry based on Technology and Topology Related Surface(TTRS)theory is proposed.Based on the characteristics of geometric information in the system modeling stage,the corresponding SysML geometry profiles and their mapping relationships with 3D CAD model elements(Solid Works is used as an example in this paper)are established after referring to and adapting some parts of the TTRS theory to quickly generate geometric solutions for evaluation.(3)A simultaneous model integration design method covering system design,system simulation,and geometry design is proposed.Based on requirements for modeling and verification in the system design process,the functions of SysML-Simulation integration and SysML-Geometry integration are integrated to construct a model integration framework with model synchronization function in the form of model transformation.The framework uses Model-to-Text(M2T)method to extract and transform the system model architecture information and updates the corresponding generated model according to the gradually refined system model so that the system verification can be parallel to the system modeling from the logical architecture stage.Based on the content above,the framework and its supported method are validated with the design process of a quadruped robot as an example,and the work in this paper can also provide a reference for other system design and integration efforts. |
