Landscape Design Of The Historical Block Of Shuyuanmen Under The Background Of Urban Renewal

Urban renewal can promote the development of urban modernization,and each city has a unique urban culture.As the core area to showcase urban culture,historical blocks can intuitively display their regional culture.People’s demand for urban culture is increasing,and the development of historical blocks is gradually receiving attention.The protection and renewal of historical blocks has always been an important aspect of urban development exploration.With the advancement of modernization construction and the rapid development of economy,politics,and culture,some historical blocks cannot keep up with the pace of urban renewal.Therefore,it is necessary to implement measures to protect and update these historical blocks with cultural value,in order to stimulate the valuable value brought by the blocks under the requirements of urban renewal.The renewal of cities will face continuous economic development and changes in social functions.Some historical neighborhoods cannot better adapt to social needs,face elimination,and urgently need protection and regeneration.The historical block of Xi’an Shuyuanmen showcases the ancient spatial structure and lifestyle of Xi’an,representing the unique customs and traditions of Xi’an.With the changes of the times and human destruction,a series of problems such as population density and outdated infrastructure have become increasingly serious.In this context,this design adheres to the combination of maintenance and innovation,protects the traditional architectural style and spatial structure,coordinates the landscape environment and cultural atmosphere,improves residents’ lives,promotes urban development,and inherits historical and cultural heritage.This article takes the Xi’an Shuyuanmen Historical Block as the research object of this project,and conducts in-depth exploration and analysis of the importance and urgency of urban renewal intervention in the landscape of the Xi’an Shuyuanmen Historical Block.Based on the original site environment and historical and cultural resources of the block,from the perspective of urban renewal,it explores the strategies and approaches for the protection and regeneration design of the landscape of the historical block.Put the landscape design of the historical block of Xi’an Shuyuanmen into practice,summarize the specific measures for protecting and updating the historical block,and ultimately achieve the goal of stimulating the vitality of the block,continuing the block culture,and promoting urban renewal.
