become one of the core driving forces to promote the coordinated and sustainable development of the regional spatial pattern.Traffic as the forerunner of regional development must drive the regional development and promote the implementation of accelerated construction of a new development pattern,while the construction of high-speed traffic network requires the support of the elements in the regional space to pull the high-speed traffic network to benign development,between the two to traffic-driven region,complement each other,mutual cause and effect.In this context,it is of great theoretical significance and practical value to study the interaction between high-speed transportation network and regional spatial pattern,the degree of synergistic interaction and development,and to propose corresponding optimization paths and countermeasures,in order to promote the strategy of a strong transportation country in the new era,and to promote further coordination and optimization of regional spatial pattern.In this paper,on the basis of sorting and summarizing many domestic and foreign literature and practice cases,based on different research perspectives of previous authors,Shandong Province is taken as the research object,and the spatio-temporal evolution law of high-speed transportation mode and regional spatial elements,the analysis of the impact of high-speed transportation network on regional spatial accessibility,economic structure,industrial structure,population agglomeration and urban form,and the analysis of high-speed transportation and regional spatial development,respectively.Adaptation matching research,using qualitative and quantitative methods such as nuclear density analysis,entropy method,coupling coordination,OLS regression,impulse response model,etc.,with the help of Arc GIS,SPSS and other software means,research the adaptability of high-speed traffic mode and regional spatial development from both time and space dimensions,research elements are both separated and integrated,making the research conclusions more comprehensive and no longer limited to economic evaluation.The research results show that:(1)the development of high-speed traffic and regional spatial polarization in Shandong Province is serious,and the overall performance is "two poles,two strong and many weak".The development of high-speed traffic has a large regional variation,the overall development pattern of Jinan and Qingdao as the core hub of high-speed traffic,Weifang and Yantai as the secondary core hub to spread around;regional spatial development,both in the time dimension and spatial dimension of Shandong Province,there are uneven development,mainly in Qingdao,Jinan,Yantai,Weifang regional spatial layout is better,other edge The other peripheral cities have more or less different degrees of disorder and delayed development.(2)The high-speed traffic network has a significant direct effect on the evolution of regional spatial pattern,mainly in the urban accessibility of Shandong Province under the influence of high-speed traffic network shows obvious characteristics of central area and decay of peripheral circles,which accelerates the flow of factors between cities in the positive or negative direction and intensifies the unbalanced and uncoordinated regional economic development in Shandong
