This study focuses on battery management systems in energy storage technology,illustrating the necessity of energy storage from the perspectives of characteristics and potential of new energy development,and discussing the importance of battery management systems.In the management system aspect,this study emphasizes the introduction of an equivalent circuit model for power batteries and parameter identification methods,while improving the traditional method of calculating battery state of charge.By establishing equivalent circuit models and parameter identification for power batteries,the battery state of charge can be accurately calculated,providing a reliable theoretical basis for the practical application of battery management systems.In terms of hardware circuitry,a master-slave topology is adopted,with CAN communication serving as the internal device communication method,simplifying wiring.This study designs circuits for insulation detection,battery voltage sampling,battery balancing,communication,and total voltage and current sampling.These circuit designs ensure the stability and reliability of the battery management system,enhancing battery life and safety.In the software aspect,this study designs embedded software and upper-level computer software.The embedded software includes data structure design,CAN communication protocol design,main function design,and SOC function design,while the upper-level computer software includes battery information,warning information,monitoring information,status information,and system configuration.These software designs facilitate battery management for users,improving the efficiency and convenience of battery management.Lastly,this study conducts actual measurements of the designed circuits,including single-cell voltage sampling,temperature sampling,current sampling,and total voltage and current sampling.These measured data can verify the performance and reliability of the designed circuits,providing technical support and reference for the practical application of battery management systems.Through this study,a certain reference and learning opportunity can be provided for the development of battery management systems.
