| Due to the rapid development of urbanisation and the continuous improvement of the medical standard in China, the development of urban medical facilities has gradually lagged behind the process of building cities, and problems such as the uneven and unbalanced distribution of medical resources have become increasingly important, and the problem of residents’ difficulty obtaining medical care is still serious. The overall equity evaluation of medical facilities service can provide a basis for optimizing urban medical allocation. And put forward specific scientific opinions on the planning, construction and management of medical service facilities. This paper took Donghu District,Honggutan District,Qingshanhu District,Qingyunpu District,Xihu District and Xinjian District of Nanchang City as empirical cases to explore the evaluation methods of space equity of medical facilities.Firstly, the present situation of medical resources in the study area was analyzed, and medical facilities were stratified according to relevant requirements, and their spatial distribution characteristics were analyzed by kernel density methods. In addition, the service scope of medical facilities at each level was divided by various methods.Second,a database was constructed based on various emerging data types such as POI data of medical public service facilities, population data, community related attribute data, and travel time data. The improved potential model was used to quantify the cumulative accessibility of each community unit to medical facilities within the time threshold, and the average accessibility value at street scale was interpolated and visualized. This was used to analyse the spatial characteristics of the accessibility values of the medical facilities at each level and then the scores were scaled for assessment.Thirdly, based on the characteristics, similarities and differences of the proposed spatial equity evaluation methods for the total population accessibility model, the transportation cost matrix and community living quality were introduced to compare the spatial equity of medical facilities under different transportation modes and different living environments, and to analyze whether vulnerable groups were deprived of medical resources. Then, the distribution dimension of vulnerable groups was set out.To comprehensively evaluate the accessibility of medical facilities for vulnerable groups.Fifth, based on the aforementioned research, this paper proposes measures for improvement of medical service facilities from the perspectives of medical resource and facility planning and layout design, medical and health management decision making, and medical requesters. |
