Study On The Planning Of New Reading Space In Changsha Based On The Background Of Urban Rehabilitation

With the rapid economic development and the rapid advancement of urbanization,urban residents are faced with the problems of lagging public facilities construction,insufficient urban cultural facilities,poor user experience of existing libraries,and low utilization of library space.Based on the theory of urban repair,This paper explores the role of new reading spaces in improving residents’ reading experience.As a new type of reading space as a public cultural facility,it can improve the traditional general library system,improve residents’ reading experience,help urban repair,improve urban ecology,and become a cultural symbol of the city.This paper summarizes the development and design characteristics of public reading spaces for citizens by studying the relevant articles and design cases of community reading spaces,public libraries and community libraries at home and abroad.Based on the urban repair theory,field research and multi-target population questionnaire survey were conducted in Changsha City.Through data sorting,it was found that the reading space in Changsha City was difficult to reach and the reading experience was poor at this stage.The problem of low accessibility of the library can be improved by scientific site selection,and the problem of poor reading experience can be improved by optimizing the design of its surrounding environment and its own space.Through the comprehensive improvement of macro and micro levels,a new type of reading space is formed.This paper takes the reading space in Changsha Second Ring Road as an example,and optimizes it as a whole from the perspective of scientific location selection and space design.The scientific site selection uses different algorithms to simulate the full coverage of the reading space in the main urban area at the macro level.At the micro level,the AHP analytic hierarchy process is used to investigate and determine the weight of accessibility,and then the candidate plots are scored and selected with the help of a simplified fuzzy comprehensive algorithm;The design strategy of the new reading space itself is to start from the characteristics of the city,learn from classic cases,and combine the theoretical spirit of urban restoration to design,to explore how the new reading space can intervene in the community through micro-renewal to improve the reading experience of surrounding residents and help urban Rehabilitation.Finally,combined with the design of a new reading space in the second ring,the above theory is practiced to verify its feasibility.To sum up,this paper hopes to fill in the deficiencies in the location selection and space design of new reading spaces in the large urban areas of the central and western regions in the context of urban repair and urban renewal,and also hopes to improve residents’ reading experience and urban repair in future cities in my country.Practice provides some reference.
